Heather's Hideaway

Clean, quiet neighborhood, very convenient to Blue Ridge. There's a Wal-Mart on the way to Blue Ridge (just a few miles away) so it's very convenient for food and supplies without actually having to go into town. Be advised the driveway is steep, make sure you get a running start (LOL). All in all, we had a very quiet 4 day stay there!

Scarey driveway

The property was as stated in other reviews older but clean. What was not clear was the dangerous scarey driveway. We drove a truck and had an extremely hard time turning around at the house.it was raining while we were there and slid a bit going up and down the driveway. Would not be able to climb it if there was ice.

10/10 Excellent

Nice home in the woods.

Nice home for our group of 9. From the excitement at arrival with the very steep driveway to leaving down the steep driveway. This home had everything we needed. Home was clean! Take time to sit on screened in porch and listen to the birds and sounds of the trees. From myself to my grandkids, we enjoyed our stay.

Slightly Roughin it

The location of the property was great, only 10 min from downtown Blue Ridge. The amount of beds and bathrooms were able to fit our family of 10 over Thanksgiving. There are a few things that should be noted before booking…. the hill up to the driveway is VERY VERY steep. If it is wet, you are NOT making it up the driveway without a 4 wheel drive vehicle and they don’t allow parking below. There are only 2 small trash cans with a note on the door stating that extra trash will result in a fee. Having 10 people stay for 6 days.. we found this a little ridiculous and had to lug trash all the way home. The space heater in the basement did not work, so the people sleeping in the basement were very cold. Lastly, the landscaping could have been cleaned up as you could not see the stepping stones walking around the house, making it hazardous. Overall, not for the faint hearted.
