Relax and enjoy the beautiful peaceful bay views from this lovely house called the BayAngel. Hear the waves and seagulls. Enjoy crabbing, fishing, and boating from the dock. Use the free boat slip at the private dock for your own boat. The large deck has fabulous views and a large picnic table, chairs and a couple of chaise lounges for relaxing and viewing the jet skiers and boaters as they cruise the bay. Have Happy Hour in the Sun Room and watch the magnificent sunsets. Bay views from almost every room. This fabulous house is located in the community of Montego Bay with 2 pools, tennis courts, putt putt golf course, shuffleboard. Northside park is next door with ball fields, a track, play equipment, walking paths, and more. The master suite has a queen sized bed, private bath, TV/cable, VCR, DVD + phone. The middle bedroom has a Queen sized bed + TV/cable. The 3rd bedroom has a pyramid bed that has a double bed with a single bunk on top and a trundle single pull out on the bottom with a TV/cable. Cable in all rooms. Second full bath is located in the hallway. The living room has a queen sized pull out sofa bed with foam mattress, TV,’s in every room, Comcast cable, VCR, DVD, and CD player, Internet. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, coffee maker, cofee grinder, blender, microwave, blender, fryer, and granite counter tops. Exterior charcoal grill.

Not as we expected

The photos of the rental property were stunning. However, upon arrival, we were immediately met with a strong musty and stale odor as we entered the house. In an attempt to ensure that everything was in order, we inspected the house and found rust on the floor vents and in the freezer. The refrigerator had a foul smell when we opened it, and the furniture was older and dusty, with the same stale, musty smell. The overall cleanliness of the property was lacking, and very outdated. We had to open windows just to air out the home. This is the worst home I have stayed in, and I have been vacationing for years. I reached out to Laura to express my concerns, only to be met with an accusatory response suggesting that I was searching for faults to defraud her of payment. This accusation was baseless and hurtful, as our intention was simply to have a pleasant vacation, as we drove 10 hours to get there. Despite my dissatisfaction with the property not matching the advertised pictures, Laura refused to provide any type of refund. My family was just very uncomfortable and did not want to stay there so we left. We just don't feel that with the amount of money we paid for this property we should have to stay in those conditions.

Bay front property excellent

We had a wonderful stay at this property, the host was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our time at this place and the views were extraordinary. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay and needs access to the bay who own a boat or jet skees. We didn’t but had a blast fishing and crabbing all weekend long. Awesome 👍

Great View

The owner was very nice. We took the property for the view. It was suppose to be all cable but we worked through that. It was all good except the property definitely needs updating. Many things are just worn. After a few days you get use to it but for the money it should be more updated.

Nice location, but

Our check in was 3:00, the owner was there and told us to come back later she wasn't done cleaning. (we had groceries and plans for the day). The house needs upkeep, toiler was loose, deck was in need of maintenance, outlets were loose, trash can was already full, etc. Otherwise, it was ok.

Fall in love with the bay

The location of this property could not be more perfect. Walk out your door and you're on the water. Taking our SUPs out on less windy days was amazing, no prep work, no drive, just walk out the door and drop the SUP in and go! My mother fell in love with just sitting and watching the bay and wants to move in, lol, though we have always been oceanfront vacationers in the past. We'll be back!

Wonderful Stay at BayAngel

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this home by the bay. The location and the views were perfect. The house was clean and all the necessary amenities were available. The house was right on the bay in a quiet neighborhood with it's own dock. The sunroom was perfect for relaxing while getting a great look at the water and the beautiful sunsets. The house is also just a few minutes away from Coastal Highway, the beach, and all the great restaurants in Ocean City. Laura was a pleasure to work with and was readily available to answer any questions we had. Well worth the visit!

OC on the bay

Our family had an awesome vacation staying in this home on the bay. The home was clean and supplied with all necessities. We used our boat at the dock for tubing and fishing and enjoyed a week of gorgeous sunsets. So close to the beach and Montego bays pool was great! The owner was readily available with input and available to answer questions . Thank you

Dusty/antique

The house was dusty and had spider webs inside. The smell inside the house was very strong. Dog’s hair was found in most of the floors even outside on the grass. One of the stairs’s handle was broken. The owner keep asking if everything was okay in the property but it was just dirty.

We rented a house with private dock for fishing, but got only house. Dock was unusable..

After booking the property I got a new quote with higher fees. I still decided to pay more and rent it because we liked the location of the house with private dock for fishing. We wanted the house on the bay because my husband and our kids love to fish. The rent was from Sunday and on Sunday morning we got a message from the owner telling us that the dock has been damaged by the storm that was on Monday and is unusable. We were very disappointed. The whole idea to rent a house on the bay and not on the beach was because of the private dock and plans for fishing. When we got there we met the owner: Laura. I expressed my disappointment but Laura's attitude was very unpleasant. Because she knew from Monday that the dock was damaged she could inform us earlier so we could cancel the reservation and find another house on the Bay. The deck was very old too and not safe for kids. The views from the house were beautiful.

Poor condition of house

I have never had a bad rental through VRBO until we arrived at the Bay Angel. Less than one hour prior to our arrival the property owner texted me to inform me the fishing pier behind her house was not accessible and could not use it. That in itself was handled poorly. We rented the property mainly for the fishing pier. Should have been given an option to opt out prior the the day of arrival. The most concerning part was how dangerous it was. The foundation under the deck and sun room was severely cracked and falling apart along with the deck railing not being attached. Honestly it should be condemned until fixed so someone doesn’t get gets hurt. We were in a construction zone all week with noise and workers all day and every day. The inside is just as bad with moldy broken blinds, stained old worn out carpet and old appliances. I will never return here. I doubt the owner has ever been there.

The perfect get away!!!

Very cozy house! Felt like home away from home. Ms Laura’s place was everything you think it would be and more. The place itself is adorable and Ms Laura got out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Check in was smooth as well and host was readily available to answer questions by texting and willing to help out in amazing time to all our inquiries. The drive to the beach is not far, maybe 10 minutes. I would recommend this place. You can tell they take pride in the home! I highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to stay again! Definitely would love to return. Thank you Ms Laura for the amazing stay and for being an amazing host.

What a way to experience relaxation

We wanted to get away for a week with the family , Just to take a break from the stress of all that’s been going on. Boy, did we pick right. The house was in a quiet neighborhood, on a beautiful bay. Everything we needed was there. Deck, sunroom, to just soak up the Quiet, fully furnished kitchen, and a lot of room to just hang out. The grandkids fished and caught crabs from the dock, and used the community pool. We were only minutes from the stores, shops and the public oceanfront beach. Laura was so great to work with, and made the experience so smooth for us. The only thing missing was more time to enjoy our time!

I am a part time realestate investor. I grew up in Rockville Maryland and our family would visit Ocean City every year for a great family vacation. I fell in love with Ocean City Maryland. When I had an opportunity to purchase this home in 2004 I was thrilled. As soon as my car hits the 90th Street Bridge I can feel the tension releasing in anticipation of a great vacation.

Why they chose this property

Ocean City is a great location just 2 1/2 hours from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. It has everything you want. There are numerous theme parks, great restaurants and entertainment, golf, jet skiing,water skiing, parasailing, antiquing, and so much more. The ocean is fabulous and fun, and the bay is great for boating fishing crabbing and relaxing. There are many interesting places to visit nearby including seeing the wild ponies. Great shopping at the outlets.

What makes this property unique

I love to sit in the living room or sun room and just relax listening to the hypnotic swooshing of the waves and hearing the birds call. At the end of the day I enjoy cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres in the sun room experiencing a fabulous sunset over the bay. It's breathtaking.
