Stayed here as the proximity was close to a family wedding...wonderful home and had everything that we could have needed! Would stay here again if the need arises. There were 3 families and we had plenty of room!
David was very accommodating to our last-minute need for a place in the area. The house had large common spaces for the 5 adults in our family to gather comfortably. Bonus for us that the house was pet friendly. Thank you for a nice stay! The surrounding area was gorgeous and the leaves were stunning!
Property was simple, clean, and accessible. David was very accessible and provided detail’s necessary to make our stay comfortable. David even secured some fishing tips for us. Great property and terrific host.
If you’re looking for a great location near Raystown Lake without the camping experience of staying at the resort or in a hotel, this is the place! Extremely clean, great rates, and space for our family (2 adults, 17 and 15 year old, and our dog) to spread out! David was very welcoming and was available to answer all of our questions. Would easily stay again in the future!
The property has everything we needed to s short trip. It was nice to not have to worried about linens and towels. The backyard was perfect for the dog and for spending time around the campfire. The park system near-bybwss key for bus.
David is a fantastic host. He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. He met us at the property at check in, dropped off two kayaks for us to use throughout the weekend and even dropped us off down river so we didn't have to pay an outfitter. The house is old, really old but full of antique furniture and fun. The outside space is great with provided firewood, a fire pit and comfy outdoor furniture. Yeah, there are cobwebs in the corners, no tracks on the kitchen drawers, etc., but with the price you pay, the fantastic customer service and the centralized location to Raystown lake, rivers, state parks and the like, this place is perfect. Oh, by the way, check out the Friendly Tavern during your stay, great breakfast with a great price!
