In town to visit Duke Medical. This is the second VRBO that I have rented which did not indicate that you had to walk up a number of flights of stairs to get to the unit. There were multiple 'apartments' in the listing and the walls were thin. We were disturbed by a screaming child in another unit. Bathtub has a consistent annoying leak/drip that could not be stopped.

Very organized in terms of checking in and out. I had no issue in checking in. Great location. I would recommend walking to “it’s a southern thing” for brunch. Thanks again!

This is a college dorm - not as advertised

The listing does not make it clear that this is in a college dorm. My husband and I would not have booked this if we were made aware of that fact. There were several stains and large cracks on the ceilings and the bathroom didn't have hot water. I attempted to contact the host several times and did not get a response. I'm glad we only stayed one night.

Lodging and instructions excellent

Our only trouble was with parking lot & parking. The owner gives nice directions, but the Alley wasn't marked. There wasn't enough parking so we parked on the grass. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay and we would stay here again.

Perfect stop over

My mom and I stayed here before her appointment at Duke and it was perfect. Very clean and well put together. The building is quiet and a good distance from the hospital. We would stay here again if we come back to Duke.

Quaint and quiet

My stay at this rental was amazing. The place was very clean. I traveled with my baby so that was super important. It was super quiet, the location was great, close to everything. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone needed a place in the area.

Comfortable Room

Stayed three nights. Room has coffee maker, microwave & fridge. I made herbal tea with the coffee maker and filled the fridge with water and snacks. The bedding and towels in this room were exceptional. As good as the Marriott up the road. Host is responsive. I felt very much at home.
