This home is in the perfect location, halfway between Leland and Glen Arbor. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the beautiful view of Little Traverse Lake. It was fun to take the rowboat out to paddle around in the clear water of the lake, and we especially liked the trail through the woods to Lake Michigan. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed.
Beautiful and comfortable stay on little traverse lake! There was more than enough space for 5 kids to sleep and stay in the extra room off the back that the kids loved. The outdoor space and area was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone to sit, eat, rest and play. We enjoyed everything about our stay, we even love the location between Glen arbor and fish town! We can’t wait to plan another family vacation!
We much enjoyed our time at this beautiful home on Little Traverse Lake. Spotlessly clean and we appointed. Sharon as a pleasure to deal with and very responsible. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for the privilege of staying in your home Sharon.
An absolutely wonderful place, full of thoughtful amenities.
We so enjoyed our stay, it’ll be our hope to return to this property again. Very charming cottage that brought so many memories of summers on the lake as a child. The entire experience was a 10 !
House was clean and comfortable. The property was well-maintained. We enjoyed sitting out on the large deck as well as the sea wall across the lakefront. Beautiful views of the lake from both inside and outside. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved the shallow lake shore at the house, and use of the kayaks and paddleboard. Family spent hours in the lake.
Quiet and lovely. Only a short drive to the Dunes and small towns nearby.
The teenager and 11 year old loved the ‘sleeping porch’, leaving plenty of bedrooms for the other four of us.
The size, layout, and location of this Little Traverse Lake property created a wonderful vacation for a family of six. We enjoyed the clear lake water, quiet surrounding, and ample space. We were close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor (Glen Lake), Leland, and Traverse City. Sharon was quick to respond when needed. Thank you for sharing your space with us.
This cottage is comfortable and in a perfect location. We loved the shallow, clear water at Little Traverse Lake and being able to easily hike out to Lake Michigan. And it’s within 20 minutes of all our favorite places. The cottage is clean, outfitted well, and really good for little children—plenty of space and not alot of breakables to worry about. The lakefront deck and yard are easily accessible and just right. A wonderful week. We hope to return!
The location of this home was ideal, about halfway between Glen Arbor and Leland, and a short drive to Sutton's Bay. The lake was clean, clear, with a sandy bottom and we had no trouble with
swimmer's itch. The kayaks and rowboat added to our fun. The cottage was well-appointed with lots of towels and very comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen overlooked an expansive d toeck with lots of seating and views of Sugar Loaf Mountain. The owner was very responsive and helpful with a few minor issues. We liked the up north cottage feel of the home with modern amenities.

We stayed at this wonderful family lake home for 4 nights. The house was very well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. We loved the lake and having use of the paddle board, and kayaks. There were several little towns close to our house that had cute little shops and restaurants. We especially love the town of Leland and the Cove restaurant. If you are able to I would buy groceries in a bigger town before you get to the house. The grocery store in Glen Arbor is called Anderson’s and it’s pretty small and very expensive. Not the best if you’re buying for several people. We will def return to this house!!
Our family enjoyed soaking in the beauty of Little Traverse Lake and the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. We loved kayaking and paddleboarding in addition to renting a pontoon boat and enjoying bonfires with smores at night. The neighborhood and lake were quiet and peaceful. The short hike to Lake Michigan was a fun after dinner delight to take in sunset. Quick day trips to Glen Arbor, Lake Ann, Leland, Suttons Bay and Northport made the vacation even more enjoyable. And we can't forget dinner at Little Traverse Inn with live music was a treat. The cottage was comfortable and convenient. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!
We have stayed in numerous homes "up north" over the last 10 years and this cozy home nestled in a quiet neighborhood right on Little Traverse Lake is by far our favorite. The house was clean and well-stocked. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out. We enjoyed hiking and biking on nearby trails. Each morning we would take a leisure ride in the row boat, enjoying the fall colors. In the evenings we relaxed by the fire. The entire trip left us rejuvenated and restored. Sharon was beyond helpful in answering our questions and very quick to respond. We will definitely plan to come back!
