What an awesome place to stay! We usually find a remote camp site and set up a wall tent and camp because we have dogs and to be honest, it’s as much their vacation as it is hours. We decided to try and take a little break from all that work and prep and get a cabin this trip and boy did we ever find a gem with this cabin! It sits on 90 acres of just beautiful scenery. Remote enough to feel like you left the world behind, but close enough you can hit a restaurant in Duck Creek or Cedar if you feel like it. We will definitely be back. What a truly relaxing place!
My husband and I enjoyed this cabin so much, it was tucked away in the beautiful nature and so quiet. Our dog had the best time running around freely. Saw so many deer in the early morning and evening. The cabin was very well kept and had items stocked in the kitchen for cooking. Will be making this a yearly trip!
I have to say this was an amazing experience for me and my animals. It is so secluded completely off path dirt roads, but as you get to the cabin it opens up the most beautiful views extremely serene.
If you're looking for amazing views, quiet, everything you can possibly want for relaxation is here. I will definitely be staying here many times this is the place to relax. The cabin is completely set up with kitchen utilities. They also keep an enormous stack of firewood. This is definitely the place to stay
This is a small rustic cabin about 30 minutes outside of Duck Creek village. Close enough to run in for dinner if you want but far enough away to avoid the craziness of the village. The cabin was perfect for us and our dogs. It was great being able to walk right out the front door to let our dogs run and being able to hike and explore around the area. The cabin had everything we needed and we will definitely be staying here again!!
This is a great cabin to kick back and relax. We really enjoyed it. Make sure that you read the directions or print them. No cell service when driving to the cabin, no address signs, and you can't rely on GPS. This was OUR mistake in not reading. It took us quite a while to find it and had we read it would have been a lot easier. :). Also, the access is at the back of the cabin, not the front door. This also caused confusion. Just a few tips before going. We were completely happy with our stay.
Loved this cabin—just what we wanted for our weekend. Wouldn’t change a thing. The hosts were super helpful & communicated well before I booked. Would definitely stay again!
My husband and I wanted a place to stay with our teenage son and 2 dogs. We wanted someplace the dogs can run around, and we can walk/hike/bike. This was perfect! The cabin is amazing. It's rustic of course (no tv, ac/heat, dishwasher/disposal/laundry), but it has an amazing wood burning stove and fireplace. And wifi! AT&T cell data works there too though. The beds and pillows are comfy, the bathroom very nice (remodeled) and all the nice touches (e.g. lights by the beds with outlets easily accessible for phones, and chopped wood for the fireplace on the porch). Electricity by solar panels. We really enjoyed our days exploring the area and then coming back and having BBQ dinner and eating at the table and playing board games. Everything was pretty new still (all the kitchenware, the bbq, etc), so it was really nice. We met the owner, a very nice man, and he helped me wash one of my dogs when she rolled in a large cow patty (yay). We saw deer in the evenings and mornings, and enjoyed tea on the porch. It was quiet and lovely. The instructions were great, as was the information provided by the host. No problems getting there, but we were in an Xterra 4x4 and the last bit is on a dirt road. There are no amenities nearby - so bring everything you might need! A trip into Duck Creek Village is probably about 45+min away.
Took a quick weekend away from SLC with our 2 dogs. The cabin was perfect. Nestled in the woods and easily accessed. Plenty of beds for all of us and the kitchen was very well stocked. The bathroom was beautiful, and the beds were very comfy. A fire in the evening made it so cozy. We loved it and plan on coming back.
