Short Getaway with Family

Our kids had never been skiing at Crystal Mountain, so we planned a trip for them to experience it. We chose to stay at the Betsie River location because it was so close to the slopes. The home was very CLEAN and spacious, with plenty of room for us to spread out. As you enter the home, the entrance is very large and many hooks to hang up wet items. It has a large master bathroom. I emailed Todd to find out the Wifi password and he responded within minutes. Communication is A! The kitchen was well stocked. We went to Traverse City (approximately 40 min away) for dinner and to do a little shopping. We ate at Blue Tractor BBQ which was a little pricey and we thought the food was just okay. The next night we ate at Geno's Sports Bar and Grill, which is located in Thompsonville and only minutes from the house and my family strongly preferred that restaurant over the one in Traverse City. The chicken BBQ pizza was amazing!! We highly recommend visiting this local joint. Not fancy but very good! If you're looking for a VRBO home in that area, I highly recommend this home! We had a great time and my kids are already planning our next trip there!

Weekend ski trip

The house was perfect for our weekend away, great location. We enjoyed the slopes at Crystal and the drinks at Iron Fish. House was very clean & spacious. Loved the property, it was beautiful with all the fresh snow & pine trees along the stream.

Great place for our purposes

Great place to stay us 6 adults. We used the space for the fat chance bike race at Crystal Mountain. There is a spice rack but no salt and pepper or garlic salt. No big deal just an fyi. We made due. Loved the river as well even went cold plungin. Will definitely be back.
