About this property

Mimi's Eclectic Abode

This special and eclectic 2 bedroom, 1 bath place is centrally located in Kerrville (the very heart of the Central Texas Hill Country). The house is full of character and charm. The neighborhood is funky and walkable. We're less than a mile from:

Downtown District -- performance theaters, art galleries, coffees shops, wine/beer bars

Guadalupe River Trail access -- hiking, cycling, running, kayaking, fishing

Trailhead Beer Garden, and outdoor live music venue.

Neighborhood Bar and Restaurants

The space
The house and bedrooms are small and comfortable with living plants and original art. The living room is particularly inviting with its sectional leather sofa and large-screen, wall-mounted television.

The kitchen is large for a small house, and provides all that is needed for preparing, cooking and storing your own meals.

The bathroom, while small, is clean and offers all the basics, including both a tub and a wonderful shower.

The front yard is large and landscaped (including peach trees not yet ready).

The back yard is fenced and private with a stone patio. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail on the front porch or back patio.

Three private parking spaces are available at the back of the property (accessed through the back alley), while additional street parking is available at the front of the property.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house and property (front & back yards) as well three driveway parking space and additional street parking.
Other things to note

This is our Texas Hill Country home, very near downtown Kerrville and the Guadalupe River. We spring clean and depersonalize it to make it available to guests during the summer months, which we spend in New Mexico. Please respect and enjoy our property! :-)

Great place

Really enjoyed the place. The decor was wonderful - a nice homey feel; the furnishings were very nice; there was an abundance of linens, towels, etc.; the kitchen had a nice selection of pots, pans, dishes, etc. and a good selection of spices. The location was very nice, quiet, convenient to downtown, for out-of-town day trips, or for walking around the neighborhood or extended nature walk. The hostess was super responsive to queries. My visitors commented on how nice the place was. A property worthwhile returning too.
