What a great little cabin!

We loved our stay! The cabin was cute, well appointed, and very clean. They had board games and some consoles w/ games in the bedroom. The beds were super comfortable, as was the couch. Location was great, minutes to everything! Fenced yard was great for the dogs. Highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!

Fun Stay

This was a great little getaway. Good proximity to a trailhead and the village. I am not super familiar with the area and had been hoping for something more remote rather than on a residential street but it was a cute, quiet neighborhood.

Great location!

This cabin had everything my friends, dog, and I needed for a perfect little getaway to Big Bear. We loved walking around the quiet neighborhood and playing games around the fireplace. You can't beat the very short drive to town and the mountain!

Property was ok, would have appreciated someone deicing the front entry way so it wasn't such a slipping hazard and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been. Communication with property manager was frustrating as any time I tried to get info from them they would answer me in half answers. I didn't find out until after I called them that they sent check in info to my email that went to my junk folder. At no time when trying to communicate with them about how to check in did they mention that an email was sent to me. For the amount of money we spent on this weekend, they could and should have been a little more accommodating.

Amazing property, weird management

The check in process was ridiculous. My mom gifted me a night in Big Bear for a friend and I. And when I didn’t show up with her credit card (no explanation of needing anything like this before hand) we had to call her, have her sign some paper saying it was ok for me to stay there (even though the reservation was in my name!!!!!) and even that was not enough- then they needed her to send a picture of her drivers license and credit card- which is sketchy like why???? Took 45 min. Imagine if we weren’t able to reach her right away!! Also they didn’t give us the coupon that was promised for ski rental The cabin itself is super cozy- though it does not come with firewood. Don’t buy firewood at the check in you can get it for much cheaper at a local liquor store. The deck leading to the front door also has about 2-3 inches of ice which is pretty dangerous to get in. Little small for 4 people, but for my friend and I it was great. Location is great.

Ok experience, 3/5 60% = D

Ok experience, 2:30 pm my arriving time cabin was “not ready” I wait in front of it since 3:00 till 4:10 no body was there I call administration and finally gave me the lock code, stairs and balcony with solid ice not snow just pure ice with nothin to remove it, danger situation with my 80 yr old mother. Inside the cabin pizza left overs on table and carpet dirty kitchen, we start our vacation cleaning the cabin and looking for anything to brake the solid ice >:(. Cabin for 4 person but advertised for 6, a sofa it is not a bed more so for 2 person. I have to drive couple miles to get rid of the trash, very inconvenient. Cabin with plenty hot water and good heater, working kitchen, bed good condition tv in every roo and more important bug free. Excellent location from ski mountain and beautiful small towns. If maintenance was done properly it would it be a more pleasant experience.

Relaxing weekend

We enjoyed our two night stay. It was our first time in Big Bear so we just went in open minded. The beds and couch were very comfortable. I could have easily slept well on the couch (didnt try and pull out the bed). The fenced in yard made it great to enjoy the evening and not need to worry about the dogs running down the block! This is what made me choose this rental over others. The street was quiet which was great. It was nice to sit out on the back porch and enjoy the stars, but there could have been a little more seating. We felt very safe walking the dogs around the neighborhood at night. I wouldn't recommend this particular cabin for more than 2 or 3 adults due to the size. The second bedroom would be great for kids. They also had some board games for family fun. There was a connection issue with the t.v. but we texted maintenance and it was fixed very quickly! They sent someone over and he was polite and helpful. Just and FYI for others who haven't been there, most cabins do not have a/c. The fans provided definitely helped! We were also there in the beginning of August. Kitchen is small but we were able to make a few cooked meals. It's walking distance to a few restaurants and a short drive to the village. I wouldn't walk to the village as it's not lit well and the road isn't pedestrian friendly. If you're looking for a low maintenance, easy going getaway I'd recommend this place. I would stay again. A few updates (nothing major) to the property would be helpful, but being its pet friendly I understand that!
