Beautiful home nestled up in the hills of blind bay. Great little pizzeria just down the road and the mini mart has everything you might have forgotten at home.
We loved sitting on the large balcony and enjoying the view. Denise is a wonderful hostess and brought us whatever we needed. The coachhouse is cozy and the bunk bed room is nicely equipped with items for children.
I dont even know where to begin. Was it the home made bread she left or the fresh eggs and butter, or letting us have fresh raspberries from her amazing garden. The beautiful accomodations overlooking Blind Bay and plenty of space. Very comfortle and very clean and will come back again! Denise is the best!
We had a very pleasant stay at Shuswap Stop. The beach is about a 1km walk from the house, making it easy to visit without all of the noise of being right on the main road. We checked the bulletin boards at the local grocery store and bar & grill for a list of things happening the week we were there, and caught a couple of art shows, a hike, and an outdoor concert. The living quarters is accessed by a flight of stairs (but that height is what affords you incredible views of the lake), so something to be aware of if folks in your group have limited mobility.
