The panoramic views are breathtaking and can be viewed from every room in the house. There are three bedrooms; each with an attached bathroom. On the first floor: there is a ½ bath, a bedroom with it’s own bathroom that has a jetted tub and a Queen size bed. The other two bedrooms/bathrooms are on the second level; one with a king size bed; the other with a full-size bed and twin bunk beds. There is a fully appointed kitchen; sit and enjoy a meal as you enjoy the view from the picture windows. Afterward step outside to the front porch and take in the beautiful scenery while lounging in a rocking chair or you can relax on the large screened in back porch. When its cold outside you can sit in the living room and relax by the stone wood burning fire and read or enjoy your favorite shows on Netflix. Enjoy fast WiFi anywhere in the house. Play board games in the front sitting room or nestle up with a great book.

Renters of this home will be able to enjoy all of the amenities that Leatherwood Resort has to offer including the community pool, tennis courts, pavilion, playground, fishing, tubing, biking and horseback riding. There is a restaurant and over 50 miles of horseback and hiking trails. There is a beautiful creek here at Leatherwood that you can hear from on top of the mountain in the early morning and late evening. This home is located in the 4000 acre, Leatherwood Mountain Resort in Ferguson, NC. Our guests are invited to enjoy our Horseback Riding program where you can experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains pristine wilderness by Horseback (reservation required). You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, community swimming pool, playground and tennis courts, creek tubing (seasonal), on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals).

Leatherwood Mountains has surveillance or recording devices on the property. Our neighborhood is very safe and our property very secluded. For added peace of mind, we have security cameras by the gated entrance and common areas. Individual properties may also have cameras on the EXTERIOR of homes. Please be assured they are not directed at private areas, hot tub porches etc.
