This property was perfect for allowing some of our family to stay on a Voyagaire houseboat and some to stay on land in this home. It is spacious and comfortable, a real home away from home.
Brandon and Hannah were amazing hosts! They were responsive and communicated very well. The house was amazing for an extended family getaway (6 adults and 2 teens) so the bedroom set up was perfect for all. The house had everything we needed and we were able to rent the pontoon boat for a couple days. It is everything the listing had said. We would stay again . Thank you Brandon and Hannah for your hospitality!
Quiet setting just off Crane Lake. A quick walk or drive down to the lake. Most of the time the only noise you will hear is the breeze blowing in the treetops.
A great gathering space on the main floor. Good space downstairs (the entry level) with pool table, play space for the younger set.
One bedroom and bath downstairs, and two bedrooms and a bath up. All the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets for the northern nights.
Kitchen and appliances are modern and up to date. Like new. All utensils, pots, pans you will need.
Download internet speed is good enough for streaming programming on TVs/devices but slow upload. Probably will not matter to most.
Stairs from entry level to main floor are not standard, and a little tricky. Host has a sign posted, but anyone with mobility issues, or families with small children should be prepared to take extra precautions. Suggest a gate be installed at the head of the stairs. A door is present but might create another hazard trying to open from below.
Crane lake and the chain of lakes connected to it are beautiful. We rented the pontoon to cruise and fish. Boat is in like new condition and boating/fishing around the lake is great activity for a stay here.
Will definitely plan for a return trip sometime soon.
