Lovely Spacious 2 in 1 Log Home, Hot Tub, Huge Deck

This Beautiful Spacious 3500 Sq. Ft Log Home Is UNIQUE. There is no interior stairwell which makes it perfect for Multi Families/Groups wanting their own separate space while vacationing together. The covered deck has wicker furniture that beckons you to sit back, relax and maybe serve up some dinner from the gas grill. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic views off the open deck and soak In the hot tub under the brilliant Colorado stars.Enjoy the hot tub under the Colorado skies. During the summer months, roast some hot dogs in our outdoor fire pit or try your hand at horseshoe. The children have plenty of room to run around and some outdoor toys are provided to keep them occupied. Each floor comes with a Completely Equipped Kitchen, Living/TV Rooms, Ping Pong table downstairs, toys are provided on each floor for the little ones. Plenty of DVDs, Wii Nintendo, Books, and Games for the family. Laundry Room upstairs and downstairs with Washer/Dryers. The top floor has a Wood Burning Fireplace. The Master Bedroom Is Beautifully Decorated Old West-Victorian Style and Includes a King Size Bed with Egyptian Cotton Sheets and En-Suite Bathroom That Includes Twin Sinks, a Jacuzzi Tub and Separate Twin Shower. The Guest Bedrooms are decorated in Western/Country styles. Each Includes a Queen Size Bed with Eqyptian Cotton Sheets. The downstairs bath also has a Jacuzzi Tub/Shower. Bedrooms downstairs are also Tastefully Furnished and Decorated with all the Amenities needed. The Cabin is 4 Miles East of Durango on the Florida Mesa. 10 Minutes From the Airport and 15 Minutes to Downtown Durango. Centrally Located To All Activities all year round.
We have a Wrap Around Driveway and have Plenty of Parking For Boats, Toys and RVs.
The Log Home is Dog Friendly with a Fenced Yard and outdoor dog house for the pooch.

Our log home can accommodate 12 people. We do live on the property but separate from the log home and are available for any help our guests may need. We always respect the privacy of our guests.

Wonderful home with everything for children
We spent a few days here. Itcis equipped with toys, books, high chair and crib. Plus tons of kitchen equipment and condiments/spices. It's close to the airport, which makes it about 10-15 minutes pressure of town. We highly recommend this home

Overall this property is great a wonderful, homey space/location just outside of Durango. It has everything you need. Unfortunately, on our first night, the host showed up unannounced & was quite abrasive in the conversation we had.

Family Fun in Durango
We had a fantastic time with our extended family in this log home. 10 people for 7 days and a ton of wonderful memories. Close to skiing, the Polar Express train and the best shopping.

Family Adventures
A great place for a family to have adventures. Our family of 7 adults and 2 toddlers had a great time here. Located just East of Durango was perfectly situated for our time. We were able to go into Durango, Pagosa, and Vallecito Reservoir. With the 2 floors and the separate living spaces it allowed for our family to be together it also some have some private space for them.

Great stay near downtown Durango
Very large property, nicely decorated, lots of fun stuff to do with the spa and the Wii and the ping pong table. Not far from Durango, silverton and Ouray! Owners are very responsive to any needs you have. It’s great to have two kitchens when you have such a large group. There isn’t central a/c (just 2 window a/c units in two bedrooms) so you need to make use of opening windows at night when it’s cool and using fans and keeping bedroom doors open for flow of cool air and then it works well during the warm summertime. We had a great time and made lots of memories!

Spacious Cabin with Authentic Western Decor
We traveled to Durango with our family of 11, which included 5 children of varying ages. This cabin had tons of space and various games, including ping pong, that all the kids enjoyed. Stepping inside, we loved the unique, western vibe that the hosts cultivated throughout the cabin.

Convenient base camp to explore La Plata County
We liked the spacious two-level rustic style home and its proximity just outside the city of Durango. It was easy for those in our party of 9 to come and go for shopping, train excursion, zip lining, hiking, church or any activity, on our own, or as a group. After a long day of travel or hiking it was a treat to find deep jacuzzi tubs in both levels of the home, in addition to a perfect temp hot tub on the deck. The neighborhood itself is mixed use business and residential, but the vacation home sits back off the road. Soon after arrival, we were cooking on the host-provided grill, enjoying our special gathering amidst the clean Colorado air on the wrap around wood deck. Being able to bring our family pet was another plus for choosing this property.

Quiet place to rest and recover
My crew and I completed a 4 day bicycle race and needed a place to rest and recover from the race and sleep deprivation. This was the right spot. Very close to the airport for the crew who had to catch flights. NO issues. Would stay again!

Live your Yellowstone Dream at this Cabin!
We had a wonderful stay for our Snowdown 2024 trip. This place easily housed our group of 11 and the hot tub was a great relief after a full day of skiing. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Perfect family spot
This property was perfect. There were 10 of us and we had space to spare. The hot tub was used every day to relax after skiing. If you have multi/family, with several kids, this is the place for you. Hosts were also fantastic and check in/out was easy.
