Had a great stay in this cabin. Was clean, and had everything you'd need. Nice firepit area, hot tub and great view from deck. Laundry and game room were nice bonuses. Good sized bedrooms. Master shower was very small but we made it work. Would stay again

Fall Rod Run
The property manager was supportive & easy to communicate with. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day at the Rod Run event!
As soon as we walked in an overwhelming smell hits you. A smoke smell but not cigarettes..We were leaving right after to catch a show so said whatever maybe it’ll wear off. Anyway later that night came across the problem of a few outlets not wanting to work. Not a deal breaker just an inconvenience. When it came time for bed in the master the bed was very unstable and making a noise. My husband looked at it and it was broken at the frame but he fixed it. The view was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely check all outlets in the home though
We did enjoy our stay at the Secret Hideout. The property, although in a neighborhood, felt very secluded and kind of remote, which we appreciated. It had ample seating accomodations and the beds were comfortable. We stayed for a week, so we became very aquainted with the house. There were a few things I would try to correct. First, the sulphur smell of the water is very strong and off-putting. We made sure to buy bottled water for coffee and brushing our teeth. The water pressure in the Master bath shower is very low. The tub-guest bath and shower-master are extremely slippery, so caution is advised. I ended up buying rubber shelf liner and putting it down so I would not slip. A good rubber shower mat would have made me feel a bit safer. Also, they don't have real bath mats, just one of those little towels, so, I got my own bath mats. It is just so cheap motelish to step out of the shower onto a little thin towel, The house although clean when we arrived, did not stay that way due to the tree debris and wet conditions. We could find no vacuum so that was not good. And finally, I find it is somewhat annoying that the guests are expected to bring in any cleaning supplies, i.e. laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent. Two trash bags were provided, but any more, you are on your own. Finally, on arrival day, they texted at 2 to ask if I would like to pay a $25.00 fee to check in earlier than 4. It felt kind of cheapskatish. The house was still a good stay.
