The condo was beautiful! Appliances all seemed to work properly. Ice maker was fantastic! I was skeptical about being on the 16th Floor, but the elevator was super fast and the view was incredible, so I was pleasantly surprised. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Hope to return!

Loved the location and resort
The unit we were in was okay ( great view), but it was outdated ( appliances were really loud), the seating in the living room was not that comfortable and the mattresses were really hard! We had to buy mattress toppers!
Would return, but not to that unit .
1 elevator wasn’t working when we arrived, then the other quit, walked up 17 flights of stairs to our room with groceries. On the last day the both had been fixed for a day, then one quit again. Day I arrived walked 4 flights with my bags, because the one I was on quit. I will not be staying at HIDDEN DUNES AGAIN.
This property was conveniently tucked into a beautiful resort property. As soon as you open the door a gorgeous view of the ocean welcomes you in. Having beach service everyday was so great, no lugging chairs and umbrellas around. The condo was stocked incredibly with towels and the linens were fresh and clean. There was plenty of kitchen items to cook with when we wanted to lay low and stay in or pop down to the community propane grills to fire up some surf and turf. Host was attentive and communicated great along with the on-site staff being diligent in keeping the property clean. Recommended!
The condo is beautiful and the views will not disappoint. There were a few nights we were aggravated with other tenant; which, is no fault of the owners of the condo we stayed in. One night a couple of the kids were throwing ice cubes over the balcony while we were in the pool, causing us and other families to leave the pool. Another night, there was a family at the pool drinking while in the pool and encouraging the boys to do cannon balls and racing all over the pool to the point we had to leave because we couldn’t enjoy our time. The last couple nights the people above us sounded like they had a circus going on in the middle of the night. Aside from the negatives, we were pleased with all the condo had to offer.
1602 Hidden Dunes was a great find, exactly what we had been looking for and expected!!
A super location on Miramar Beach, close to the Mid-Bay Bridge. The Gulf views were stunning with easy access to the private beach area with beach service included. The unit was well appointed with every thing we needed for our stay. The ice maker was also a nice addition. I would certainly book again for a stay in the area and recommend to friends.

Such an awesome trip! We have stayed at Hidden Dunes several times but this was our first visit to 1602. The condo had everything we needed. We especially liked the separate ice maker! The views were unbelievable and the weather was perfect. Coming at this time of year saved us from a lot of crowds - we got into restaurants without a wait and traffic was not a problem. Thanks so much and we will definitely be back!!

This condo was great! The view was amazing!
This is a well kept condo with a beautiful view. It was perfect for us and our 4 kids. The bedrooms were good size and I always love having the ability to wash laundry in our unit. My only frustration was the lack of silverware. There are plenty of plates bowls and cups but barely any silverware. Other than that the place was great!

Had a great time! It was kinda hard with one elevator working being on the 16th fl.
Had a great time👍🏼! One elevator was not working but made the best of it. The beach was great, nice friendly staff and property was located in the middle of everything! I love to cook for my family so the only complaint I would have is they could use some new non stick pots and non stick skillets. I would come back with my family!!

Overall very nice but with a couple of minor complaints
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo this past holiday weekend. The condo was exactly as pictured on the website and was very nicely appointed and clean. The amenities on property were very nice and well-maintained. The free beach service (umbrella and beach chairs)was also a very nice included touch.
Now to our minor complaints -The first complaint is with the booking/property management agency (Newman-Dailey Resort Properties), who automatically charged me for travel cancellation insurance without telling me anything even though I booked last-minute (three days before arrival). I happened to notice it and complained - they removed it and credited my account. According to the agency, this is their standard business practice - I consider it a very deceptive and unethical practice (if you must, offer it to me voluntarily, but give me a chance to turn it down before you automatically charge me). My complaint is that this charge should never have happened in the first place, and it has never happened to me before in 20+ years of renting houses and condo's in Destin.
The second complaint was with the spotty Wi-Fi and complete lack of cell coverage for our carrier (Sprint) (unless you go outside on the backside entry-way). Although the condo did not advertise Wi-Fi service, it has become expected at nicer locations and should be provided, particularly since the cell coverage was non-existent. I will give the condo owners credit for trying - they had a DSL hook-up with a very cheap router, but it only worked about 10% of the time. I would hate to be the parent of plugged-in teenagers who booked this unit for the week... :) I suggest the owners get a cable modem, and a good quality Wi-Fi router for future guests.
Overall, I would still recommend this property to friends and family, with advance knowledge of the minor points described above.
