This property is all you need for a relaxing weekend away. We are staying even longer in the Fall as the view from the window is a picturesque lake. I can't imagine how beautiful that will be with fall foliage. And my husband is looking forward to fishing the lake!
The house and location were very nice. House was clean and set up nice, beautiful location. We had bad weather so couldn't enjoy everything but the host was very nice and made accommodations.
Our family chose to stay here during a softball tournament in Rhinelander. It was near to the dome and other amenities in Rhinelander. It was on a dead-end road, so it was quiet. The home has a nice lake view. The home was clean and cozy. I would recommend. It was a great alternative to a hotel stay and made our free time more enjoyable.
Family and I come here every year to visit family around this and instead of getting a hotel we decided on a rental. This rental was great. Its clean, warm, lots of amenities, and a great location.
Great stay, cozy cabin exactly as described was nice and clean and had everything needed for a great stay! We did have pets along and the cabin was pet friendly, but again was very clean I wouldn’t hesitate to stay without pets. We have been staying in the area at least once every winter and this is definitely makes the A list.
We rented this cabin while we were in Rhinelander for a hockey tournament. It met our needs perfectly. The owners were easy to get in contact with and we really enjoyed our stay.
Our family was in the Rhinelander area for a hockey tournament, and we LOVED this property! We were so comfortable, had everything we needed, and would love to visit again.....maybe in the summer! Thanks!
Nice house on Lake George. Fantastic view of the lake. Great location for everywhere I went to hunt with my dogs. They liked it too, especially the squirrels. Bed was comfy and couch very comfy. Couple of quirks as any house has. Not a deal breaker.
Very quiet, but it was mid-week at end of September. Lots of room for a family or 2-3 couples. Great furniture and televisions. Lots of hiking trails near by. Used kayak, dock for looking at stars, and bonfire.
The place was very well kept, and I was able to have a great anniversary dinner with my partner as we cooked in their fully loaded and clean kitchen. Thank you very much!
Very cute cabin with a gorgeous lake view! We stayed during mid Sept and i thought it would be cooler. The cabin had no AC so that was the only thing that I didnt like. If you plan on going in late fall i think it would be perfect but summer might be warm. They had plenty of fans to help keep the place cooler. Overrall, we loved our stay here!
We had a very relaxing time staying at the cabin. The neighborhood was perfect and had a great view of the lake right from the living room. It turned into a very hot weekend, so we were happy that there were so many fans in the house. The place was very cute. There needs to be a few fixes - like the shower door doesn't stay closed when showering, and some of the doors inside the house need to be trimmed back to close as well. But overall this place was a great value for the price. We used so many of the lake toys - SUP board, canoe, fishing pole. Wish we could have stayed longer!
We loved our stay here! The access to the water is perfect, the house was clean and well stocked. We loved how dog friendly the place was! We absolutely loved our week and want to come back soon!
The house was spacious, clean, very dog friendly, easily located. The beds were very comfortable. View of the lake was beautiful.
First impressions do matter and we were unable to open the lock box, after numerous attempts, with the information provided. Not having a telephone number for the owner was frustrating. Fortunately, we located a neighbor who just happened to have a telephone # so we could call the owner.
The shower was nice, but the shower door kept sliding open and it had to be held for the entire shower.
We were instructed to put our towels and bedding into the wash machine when we left, and to start the machine. We were unable to locate a washer. The stairs to the basement area are hazardous because they lack a railing of any kind and are narrow so be very careful using them.
I would have preferred to directly contact the owner regarding the issues noted here but the VBRO site does not accommodate that type of communication as far as I can determine.
