We had a very nice weekend. This property is extremely clean and well maintained. It feels brand new. The location is perfect for enjoying the many wineries and breweries along Rt. 151. Charlottesville is a short drive away. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The area is very quiet at night. The black out curtains in the bedroom make it easy to get a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay here in Afton. The home was very nice, clean, and updated. The location was close to the breweries and wineries in the area. Communication with the owner was great. Would stay here again.
We have stayed at this property several times and it is always extremely clean and comfortable, and Stone is very responsive, friendly, and helpful with any issues that have arisen. Will definitely stay here again!
This house is as advertised! So clean, comfortable, great amenities, well stocked. Reasonable requests as far as checkout. Convenient location just off Rockfish Valley Highway. Quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay again.
This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed! The pictures are not deceiving at all. Very well equipped home and did I mention clean, because it is immaculate. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will likely be repeat renters in the future.
We were really impressed with the house. The location was perfect for us. We wanted to visit different wineries and vineyards and it was right there among many and a short drive to others, including Monticello. It was absolutely one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in, it had everything you would need, and very quiet. If I had one complaint was it seemed hard to regulate the air so that it stayed cool at night, if there was a fan in the extra bedroom, it wouldn't have been a problem.
We loved our stay. The cottage is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything to make visitors comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the beds were super! We slept very well. The location is very close to the Shenandoah National Park and just a short drive to Monticello, both of which we visited. Thank you so much for a lovely experience!
Fabulous place! Exactly as described. Super clean, very well appointed and very calm. Beds very comfy, lux linens, quiet space. We loved the location and especially the fire pit at night, under the stars. MAGICAL.
This house is warm and inviting, clean and comfortable. Host was communicative with good local recommendations. Checkin and checkout were easy. Home is equipped with everything one would need. Highly recommend!
We had a great time in Afton and this was a very nice, clean, and quiet place to stay for our trip. Check in was easy and the house was very convenient to wineries, breweries, and hiking.
This was quite possibly the best place we've ever stayed. Spacious kitchen and living room. Located very near Shenandoah National Park (l/t 10 miles) with lots of breweries and wineries along the highway leading up to it. Very convenient to Waynesboro and close to Charlottesville. Everything was clean and the appliances all looked new. Bed was comfortable too. And quiet neighborhood.
My wife and I came to the area to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and we loved the cleanliness of the place as well as the central location to so many wineries and breweries. We traveled during a tropical storm and they were very accommodating with allowing for early check-in since he knew we were coming from coastal NC. Everything we needed was there for us! Super cozy place. We are already talking about booking a trip with another couple for the spring! I highly recommend!
The home was exactly as described in the description. It was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary accessories and appliances to make the stay more comfortable. Coffee and tea was also provided, which was a nice added touch. Wood was even included for the fire pit. There was a sufficient supply of bath towels and even bath toiletries if you forgot to bring something. The street the house was located on was very quiet. The property manager was very quick with responding back to communications. This property is located within a short distance to the national park, which made is very convenient to access.
