Why they chose this property

Were you raised in a barn? If you were, it probably wasn’t as cozy as this one. This bright, 880 square foot, hand-crafted “bardominium” is ideal for a small family, group of friends, or intimate business retreat.

What makes this property unique

The Pisgah View Barndominium is situated on an acre of land just outside of town. The ground floor is set up as a game room and common area with half bath, kitchenet, washer/dryer and futon that converts to a full bed. There’s a ping pong table and poker table which converts to a bumper pool table. Head upstairs to access the 440 square foot apartment. You will find a luxurious Chesterfield sofa in the living room, as well as a 48-inch smart TV and Blu-ray player. There’s a farmhouse table with seats for four (extra chairs are downstairs beside the washer/dryer and extra leafs are in the bedroom closet) and a compact but fully-equipped kitchen with large fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. There is a Juliet balcony with two bistro chairs, a table, and an ashtray. The bathroom has a full-sized alcove bathtub and wall-mounted vanity with a spacious medicine cabinet. There are four towel bars. There is a small linen closet located outside the bathroom for extra linens and paper products. There are two small bedrooms. One faces west and gets gorgeous evening light through the white linen curtains. It has a full-sized bed and small loft with a twin bed (great for kids). The other room faces east and has a queen sized bed. This bedroom has blackout curtains so it’s great for sleeping in. Each bed has high-quality bedding and mattress protectors/ allergy layers on all pillows. Each bedroom also has a closet with space to hang clothes and store personal items. Just ten miles away, you will find the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. The views of the old Blue Ridge will take your breath away, and the little waterfalls and secluded “hollers” will settle even the busiest mind. If you need a day to decompress, stay in and cook yourself a meal on the vintage six-burner gas range.
