About this property

Cozy beach cottage. Short walk to the beach! Family friendly.

Our Beach cottage is clean and comfortable. The porch has rockers and a picnic table. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, pots and pans, and dishes; dining for up to 6 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed, television, and a bathroom with a stall shower. We have a large den with a couch, recliners, and television with streaming services. The full bathroom with bathtub/shower is off the den. The second bedroom has a double bed with a closet and a TV. The back bedroom off of the kitchen has two single beds. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Golf cart usage is NOT included with the rental. Golf cart rentals are available through Ocean Lakes Golf Cars.

We strongly urge ALL renters to purchase vacation insurance. This will protect you should you have to cancel for any reason.

Cute little place
This is a cute little property…small, but good for what we needed! We have other family that camps here so we don’t stay at the house much. Bathrooms are a little on the small side but, again…for no more than we are there, it does a fine job! Alex is super nice and check in was a breeze! Overall, great time at family ties!

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY IN FAMILY TIES! IT HOUSED THE FOUR OF US VERY COMFORTABLY AND WAS VERY HOMEY! ALEX WAS VERY GREAT TO WORK WITH IN OUR RENTAL PROCESS AND WAS VERY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING IN THE FACT WE HAD TO LEAVE TUESDAY DUE TO MANDATORY EVACUATION BECAUSE OFHURRICANCE FLORENCE. WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR A GREAT FAMILY GET AWAY!

A True Vacation!!!
My family and I stayed here for two nights and loved it!!! The beds were so comfortable, the house just feels cozy. My son loved the golf cart. We never had to leave the grounds, this was a True vacation wish we could have stayed longer but had to leave a day early. We will be coming back very soon!!!!

Girls Getaway
This was the 2nd time staying in the house just 2 adults. It is just perfect for us 2 and we had a blast as always. Do wish it had a washer and dryer but definitely not a deal breaker. Definitely will be back.

Ocean lakes dump!
I will never stay at 1258 in Ocean Lakes ever again. When we got there it was nasty inside. They offered to bring the cleaners back but it would take more than cleaners to help this place. The kitchen cabinets and everything in them were so old, nasty, we didn’t use anything in the house.the bed covers we nasty also. The floors in the house is not level anywhere. I could go on and on but no need. We also had to pay for parking and we’ve never had to do that before. I love the beach but staying at this place made things different..

Love this house and love everything about it
This was my great grandparents camper turned into a house and I love everytime I get to go visit and stay. This house is the reason I change my mind about how I felt about ocean lakes! I use to not want to go but after my last two trips I have fallen more in love with it!!!
