Highly recommend

My partner and I stayed here for a week. The location was great, the flat was clean and spacious. Lovely little garden in the back. Would absolutely stay here again!

Spacious apartment near Lake Merritt

My adult daughter and I had a great stay. The location is great - short walk to Piedmont neighborhood or Lake Merritt. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of an older building but is spacious and newly renovated. It was surprising how quiet it was, which we loved. I’m not sure the neighbors would appreciate young children or loud groups. Check-in was seamless and the place was spotless. I will definitely stay there again.

Cute little Stay/Be wary of neighbors

The stay was great, comfortable, clean sufficient kitchen utensils. Great sunlight, near a grocery outlet. Finding parking is pretty smooth as well. There was a little issue with the toilet not really flushing normally but we called the owner of the VRBO and they sent someone to handle it pretty much right away, so that was great. Only downfall is some of the neighbors are overly sensitive about any commotion. We were well aware of the quiet hours, and my group was kicking off our night with drinking and card/board games, music playing during the evening hours on a Friday. The neighbor complained to owner that we were having a party and needed to be mindful of the quiet hours about hour before quiet hours were recognized. We informed the owner we would be out of the rental space most of the trip but we wanted to stay in the first night of our trip and we were well aware of the quiet hours start time. They gave us some recommendations for places we could go and that was the end of it. The stay was great but the walls are thin I guess so it feels like a bit of a hassle coming in and out later in the night. Other than that maybe a few more fans in the unit would be nice. Ultimately great stay for a smaller group of travelers.
