Serenity awaits at this private all-season retreat, ideally located between Mount Snow, Wilmington Village, Lake Raponda, and a bounty of year-round activities for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. In the summer, you can paddleboard, kayak, and boat only seven miles away. In the fall, hike local trails right from the end of your driveway, enjoy local festivals and music at Mount Snow, or tee it up at Haystack Golf Club. In winter, leave the bustle of the mountain behind and enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub while you grill or eat takeout from the many nearby restaurants.

Situated at the end of a winding country road, the home is a private enclave that welcomes family and friends to its dog-friendly space. Gather around the firepit and play cornhole, and in season, enjoy herbs and some veggies from the raised beds. The open-concept main floor offers a seamless flow between the living, dining, and kitchen areas, creating a warm and inviting space for relaxation. Enjoy Ping-Pong, and foosball on the lower level which also has a myriad of games and puzzles and a tv with a USB to connect to other devices. On the main floor, a wood-burning insert adds a cozy feel, and the Roku TV enables guests to access all their usual streaming from plush and comfy seating. The well-appointed kitchen makes family-style meal prep a breeze, and the large dining table can accommodate larger groups.

MLK

Enjoyed our stay for MLK weekend. House comfortably fit two families. House was very nice and hot tub was enjoyed after ski days. Snowed while there and plow was prompt and made drive up/down long drive okay. 4 wheel drive was a must.

Great Escape.

Everything about the house was what we were looking for and more. Although the house was amazing, I spent the majority of my time there outside the house. On the deck for morning tea, post run jacuzzi, sitting by the fire pit. Amazingly quiet spot.

great house, but horrible location & management

the house itself is exactly what was pictured, and my friends and I had a great time inside the house.however, this house is located off the beaten path, down a steep windy hill, on a street that is not recognized by the town. while we were there, it snowed 2 inches (ONLY 2 INCHES) and by the morning, the street was not plowed nor salted. therefore, none of our cars were able to leave the property, even cars with snow tires & 4-wheel drive were stuck. when contacting customer service, we were routed to overseas employees who kept saying "they will submit a ticket" but could not promise any solutions as the driveway was "out of their responsibilities". even when asking for help contacting plowing companies, they said they could not offer help. it wasn't until a maintenance guy who lived in the neighborhood saw our struggle and helped us out with his local resources. otherwise, we'd be stuck at this VRBO until the snow was gone... probably weeks. even when asking customer service what happens if we can't get out, they offered no solution other than "being stuck there". we got so lucky that neighbors ended up helping us out, but it cut our ski day super short, which was the entire reason for the stay.

Rat infestation & no refund

We had a rat infestation during our stay. Rats ate our food, packages of bread and cake and fruit that were over the kitchen island and counter were eaten and destroyed. We woke up to drink water in the middle of the night and saw multiple large rats on top of the kitchen counters and island. We asked for a partial refund to Vacasa and were completely ignored.

Great home but need some live and care

Stayed in this home 3 years ago and loved it, decided to come back and yes it is still a nice home which can accommodate 8-10 people comfortable and it is close to mountain snow but property looks worn and not as pristine as it used to. Half of light bulbs are burnt, half of the outlets are not working, heat is not working proper, closets and pantry not organized and dirty, crumbs and chips were all over game tables down stairs and on the last night we had some visitors running on the counter in the kitchen. It’s a property with great potential which was lovely 3 years ago and just needs some love and care.

Secluded and Spacious

Recent stay with 6 adults and 2 teens. Plenty of space for us all. Depending on weather conditions, 4WD vehicle might be required to get to the house. It’s a long way up on a dirt like road to get there. Very slick, lots of potholes. House was clean, bright, filled with great amenities. Beds were super comfortable. Very beautiful, quiet location. Drawbacks: towels were provided but it was one per guest and they were pretty small. Bathroom setup is not ideal for 6 people. One bathroom is in the guest bedroom upstairs so the other people staying in the other upstaures bedroom either have to go through the room to use it or go downstairs where the other bathroom and bedroom are. We made it work. It got stifling hot upstairs even with the heat down or off. You need to drive to get anywhere but markets, towns, restaurants (do not miss Starfire Bakery!!) were all close. Overall we had a great stay.
