From the moment our cottage host reached out to me, I knew we were in good hands. I must admit that the pictures don't really show off the beauty and brilliance of this quaint cottage...so centrally located...and the sunset rises and sunsets are spectacular...plus Amelie is the best hostess xoxo!
Right on the pond with lots of crabs to watch battle it out. Vanessa and Blaze look on. Short walk to the ocean where you can sit on the sea wall and enjoy the view. So charming.
Walk to the beach, downtown, bike bath - this house has it all. Great fit for our 3 small boys. Clean, homey, airy - can’t wait to go back. Love this house! And the outdoor shower is pretty amazing too.

Charming home - Great location!
We stayed at this cottage the first week of July, 2018. It has a fantastic location with a great deck overlooking a pond and beyond that, the sea. It is about a 4 block walk to Circuit Ave, Oak Bluffs and 2 blocks to the beach. It is in a very quiet neighborhood so you get all of the convenience and none of the noise. The house has 3 bedrooms, which fits 5 comfortably. The kitchen is well appointed and the living space has plenty of room. The house is clean and well maintained. The outdoor shower is awesome!

Amazing!
I've been coming to Martha's Vineyard with my family for years but have never experienced a house/location as great as this. The house is secluded but it only takes 10mins to walk to "downtown" Oak Bluffs (I timed it). Waking up every morning and being able to have a view of the pond and ocean was amazing.

Superb location
The location is unbeatable: right across the street from the beach and a 10 minute walk from town and shopping and the terminal. It's also right on a "pond" which is more like an ocean lagoon. Our only disappointment with that was lack of a kayak or canoe to get around the pond. A bigger dock down at the water would be nice too. One big plus was all the trees surrounding the property. The house seemed to be about 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the island. A nice relief when coming back from the beach, especially with the wonderful outdoor shower- which I LOVED!! Don't plan on using the indoor shower- it's not very welcoming. The bathrooms could use some work but overall I loved this house!

Perfect home for a wonderful Martha's Vineyard vacation!
We greatly enjoyed this wonderful home on Farm Pond in Oak Bluffs. This lovely 3 bedroom home was perfect for our family of 4. Quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped with all you need for the week - including a fully equipped kitchen, a grill and beautiful outdoor deck for summer dining. Super quiet, yet just a 5 minute walk from Inkwell Beach and just 10 minutes walk from Ocean Park and Circuit Avenue. Loved, loved, loved it. We are looking forward to coming back.

Quaint, picturesque and charming.
This is our 3rd year staying at this quaint, picturesque and charming home located in Oak Bluffs. It is centrally located to all the activities that the town offers. Less than a 5 minute walk to do Yoga on the beach daily or exercise with the Polar Bears in the ocean at 7:30 am each morning rain or shine. My family and I have been vacationing on Martha's Vineyard for years and each stay is better than the year past. We look forward to staying at this quiet getaway each year. The property is always well clean and would recommend to my family and friends visiting Martha's Vineyard for the first time. We enjoy bike riding from town to town and having breakfast at Linda Jean's on Circuit Avenue and a late dinner snack at Nancy's in town on the water.

Perfect Getaway Cottage
My family had a great time staying for 1 week at Vanessa's Hideaway. We have 2 boys - ages 5 and 2 - and it was such a perfect place for us for the week. We all felt right at home, with the cozy charm of the house, both indoors and outdoors. There is a fabulous deck with access to view the pond - complete with front row seats to the geese and Vanessa the sea serpent. The outdoor shower is amazing . The AC in the upstairs bedrooms is a huge plus. It's a beautiful short walk into town or the beach. Easy access out to the main roads, whether you're walking or driving. Amelie and her parents were very helpful in making sure we are all set with our stay. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family , and look forward to staying here again.

Cozy cottage with beautiful views!
This lovely house is just as it shows in the pictures. The view is amazing and is a 3 minute walk to the beach. The town of oak bluffs is very lively and u don't even need to have a car to get there and enjoy the restaurants and shops. Amelie and frank were a pleasure or work with. I would recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a cozy place with a homely feeling. The house has anything you may need. I was very happy with our stay!

Fun stay on a lovely island
Enjoyed our stay on the Vineyard. Cottage is well located for walking to all the amenities that Oak Bluffs. Oak Bluffs can be a little wild, but is just far enough removed that you are not disturbed by it.
Place was tidy and well supplied with kitchen things, which was helpful when travelling from overseas.
Outdoor furniture is getting a little tired, table and loungers could do with an upgrade.
Loved the outdoor shower.
Enjoyed watching local Osprey diving for fish.
Thanks again.

All in, awesome
All in all, a great location and place. Not overly fancy but all you need for comfort and the view is stellar. An easy walk to town, and good for cooking meals in it take out plus deck dining.
You can get some smell from the brackish water but is liveable - comfortable and cozy - again no frills but a good value for the money.

Best of both worlds!
One of the best things about this house is that it makes you feel that you are far away from the hustle and bustle of OB, but in reality you are a few blocks away. You can walk downtown and down the street to the beach. The house is relaxing and quaint. Perfect getaway...

Quaint Waterfront house
This was a wonderful house in a great location. The house was nice and cozy but with plenty of room to stretch. The side yard provided privacy and space for my daughter to play. The beach was just a block away and the property is waterfront to a lake in the backyard. Whether we were taking a stroll to town or the beach or just relaxing on the porch listening to the geese and enjoying a nice sea breeze, this house was great for all aspects of our trip. Hopefully we will be back!!

Peaceful and beautiful
We were so lucky to find this wonderful property to rent for a week. The house is cute and comfortable, and the view from the back is picturesque and lovely! We could easily walk into town and to the beach. It was great to have the bike path right down the road. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect getaway for our family
We would definitely recommend this sweet cottage tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk everywhere. Close to the beach, parks, playground and town. Plenty of space for our family of four. Pretty views of the pond and beyond. We are looking forward to another visit!

Perfect Island Getaway!
This cottage is the perfect location for a quiet getaway yet is so close to downtown Oak Bluffs... so dining, shopping and visiting with the locals is just blocks away! It is located on a quiet dirt road, nestled away among the native greenery with great views of Farm Pond and Vanessa the seamonster; a local favorite! The bike path is literally at the end of the road so you can jump on your bike and take a beautiful ride along the shoreline. The living space is very open so you can hang with family and friends while cooking lobster and shucking corn togther! This hidden gem is a must for anyone who wants to really experience Martha's Vineyard. I have stayed here many times and wouldn't trade these memories for the world. Relax and enjoy!!!
