Horrible experience
Terrible conditions & refusal to refund. house was infested with mice. me & my children consumed mice droppings inadvertently before we realized they had gotten into the bags of bagels and muffins the night before. We provided photo and video evidence of the mice on kitchen counters, in oven etc. We couldn’t sleep with loud sounds of mice in the walls at night. We had to throw out all the groceries that we had just purchased the day before as the bags of food were sitting on the counter & mice had rummaged through them & left mice droppings in our food (and rooms!) The house was really musty / mold smelling and also covered with spiders etc, The list goes on… In addition - we had no working Wi-Fi the entire week, despite having to work all week-and the VRBO listing repeatedly focused on advertising the quality Wi-Fi throughout the home. Instead, we had to rent a car & drive 40+ mins RT daily to reserve rooms at libraries & bookstores in order to perform our jobs. We reported the broken Wi-Fi on day 1 upon check-in, and the owner & management company kept alleging that the Wi-Fi was working/fixed when it wasn’t. We provided multiple forms of proof DAILY the Wi-Fi was not working.Still, nothing was done to resolve it satisfactorily. The Wi-Fi was also *confirmed broken* by Comcast on final day (7!) of our trip as we were checking out. Terrible overall & disgraceful the only “offer” to correct this was cleaning fee.
