Good neighbourhood

This was a perfect location for us, close to highway to go to Banff and to winsport. Quiet neighbourhood, close to restaurants and groceries. It was perfect for our family of four, kids had their own rooms, their beds were comfy, master bed was a little less comfy. Two bathrooms was great to have and they were clean. This house has a lot of potential, I can see they are new at this and they are doing renovations. They can improve the kitchen, a few more dishes, add a few more essentials, give cupboards a wipe down. Overall we were very happy.

Pros and cons of the place

pros: - mostly just as advertised in listing - affordable - good neighborhood - owner answers promptly Cons: - unclean master bedroom bathroom - encountered strong smelly stench in 2nd room especially when closed for a long period of time - no landscaping done, intruding drive way space, along with the skid steerer, coming in and out of a large vehicle - minor issues like some doors were hard to close, no AC or fans provided in summertime (had to sleep with open windows)

You get what you pay for but the place needs some work

Initially was cheap compared to other options. It had beds for everyone. However, it was clear that the place has not been thoroughly cleaned. There were stains in the washroom, the toilet seat was dirty, and the outdoor areas looked different than the pictures. It looks like the place was going through a renovation. The location was convenient, and the area was quiet. The place has the potential to be a comfortable rental suite once it gets a thorough cleaning and the mess in the backyard and front is taken care of. The communication with the property owner was good they made the check-in process easy but there was only one key for the entrance. Made it awkward when we had to split up and come back at different times. Overall, I would say if you are tight on funds then go for it. If you can spend the extra money I would recommend going elsewhere.
