Overall the stay was good. Needs a microwave , carpet on the carpet was a pain, couch not very comfortable and would suggest getting rid of pillows with feathers especially for people with allergies. Bedroom light fixture was hanging by connectors and was fixed in quick order. I would spray for ants by bottom door entrance. Beds very comfortable. Lovation great gor Rockyview hospital!!!
The property is nothing more than a downstairs basement with other guests staying in the main house above. The guests above would come home from partying every night between 1:30 and 3:00 am. With them walking around and talking we got very little sleep. Basement had a smell of dog urine that was overwhelming. Cleaners tried to clean the smell out two different times I finally found a rug that had been pissed on and told the host. Rug was removed and smell got better. Was locked out of the house at one point because clears must have locked storm door so there was no access to the key pad on the door. cleaners moved our luggage downstairs and in the process lost some of our stuff. This basement has no A/C so you can imagine how bad the dog urine smell was.
This place was clean and comfortable. There were lots of towels, comfortable beds and plenty of space for the three of us. It was obvious that soundproofing has been done between the floors as we could not hear voices from the upper level. We could hear people moving around at some points and vacuuming but most likely it is not any worse than most apartments.
The bushes in front of the house could be trimmed as they somewhat hide the side entrance to the basement suite. There is a pipe sticking up from the ground beside the sidewalk that all of us tripped on at one time or another while walking around the bushes at the corner of the house.
The booking process for this unit was arduous. The third party identity verification company being used asked for photos of passport or driver's licence, which should never be required for something like this. No one should be providing an unredacted photo of their identification.
Once we arrived at the unit, our stay was pleasant.The location was perfect for us. A minor plumbing problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently, which we appreciated. If not for the booking process, I would give this unit a five star rating.
