Vacation Rental Features and Amenities:
THE COTTAGE is located at quiet GOSHORN LAKE between the resort town of Saugatuck, Michigan, and the TULIP city of Holland, Michigan. Swimming, paddle boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and private dock are yours to enjoy at your own risk. Paddle boat and kayaks included with rental.

The COTTAGE has two bedrooms and one bath (bath is in one of the bedrooms)... Sleeps Five. There is additional toilet and sink in the garage. Fully furnished kitchen, grill, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker, range with oven, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, and utensils are provided. Toilet paper, paper towels,
pillows, and blankets are also provided. LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN.

One bedroom has a Queen Bed and the other bedroom has a Queen Bed and a twin. There is also a hide-a-bed. THE COTTAGE has a deck with furniture and a grill. Firepit on premises, You supply the wood. Everything to make your stay enjoyable. 'The Cottage' is not a housekeeping cottage. Please leave Cottage as you found it. Drive up parking. Wireless internet available.

NO PETS. Washer and Dryer available ( in garage).

LEAVE THE COTTAGE IN THE CLEANLINESS IN WHICH IT IS FOUND, PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

Activities and Attractions: Antiquing, Golf, Shopping, Dune Rides (just minutes away), Restaurants, and Hiking. Also Holland activities include a visit to the Wooden Shoe Factory and the Big Windmill on Windmill Island. There are also wonderful beaches in both Saugatuck and Holland.

Best Wedding Weekend Stay!
when planning to elope at the courthouse with our closest friends we knew we didn’t want a boring hotel. We found this cabin and immediately fell in love! The photos don’t even do it justice! It is such a charming place and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are already planning another trip back for our 1 year wedding anniversary! It is well maintained and the owners are seriously so nice!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway
Went to Saugatuck/Holland area for a fun girls trip and stayed at The Cottage. It was extremely clean and had everything you could possibly need. The owners provide access to the lake and have kayaks, paddleboards and a paddleboat available. Very beautiful, relaxing and quiet location and also very convenient to Saugatuck/Douglas and Holland. Will definitely be back! Thank you to Brian and Debbie for a wonderful stay!

Quick Summer Getaway Perfection
We needed a quick mini-vacay and this cabin was the PERFECT spot!!! We were able to visit the sand dunes, kayak the lake, dine out in Saugatuck and even ride our bikes from the cabin all the way into Holland to check out Windmill Island Gardens. Super clean and the host was extremely kind and communicative.

We took our grandchildren for a short weekend getaway. The cabin and property was perfect and the kids had a blast on the lake swimming and paddle boarding. We will return.

Great Location, Nice quiet place, lots of extras
Location is really good. Less than 10 minutes to Saugatuck and 15 minutes to Holland. Lake is nice and quiet, good for swimming and paddling. Owners have kayaks, paddle boat, and SUP for your use which is perfect for that lake. Really nice to have. Owners even called before we arrived to answer questions and give us a rundown of the property. The property itself was very clean and well maintained, everything works and it is well stocked with many extras that other VRBO's don't offer. My only critique was the mattresses were much more firm than I sleep on at home and I had restless sleep, especially the first night.

Peaceful Getaway
We had a great stay at Brian’s cottage! It’s very clean and quiet. Free access to the lake with paddle boat and kayaks. Great location! We visited Saugatuck, Holland and Grand Haven during our 4 days stay. Will definitely stay at this cottage again if we are back in the area.

Great Little Cabin for Smaller Groups
We needed a place to stay during Tulip Time and this spot was perfect. Owner was very friendly and definitely keeps the place clean. Mother Nature caused us to not be able to check out many Tulips unfortunately. However, it worked out well and this cabin was perfect since it is close to not only Holland, but also Saugatuck and South Haven which we did on the other two days. My mom said the fold away bed was surprisingly comfortable. Would definitely come stay here again in the future!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at The Cottage. Everything was as described, beautifully maintained, cleanliness and location were perfect!! The owners Brian and Debbie were amazing. They live right next to the cottage and they went over and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Five stars is not enough to rate their hospitality and beautiful lake cottage. What a delightful surprise!
Returned to The Mitten, where I’m originally from, for a family wedding at the lovely Felt Mansion which was only a mile away from The Cottage. The pictures do not do this rental justice! Albeit this place is older the Sullivans have lovingly restored it and have created a most welcoming and charming accommodation. Besides being extremely clean and organized, it is well stocked with so many thoughtful details. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom is large. The deck is a nice size with plenty of seating available. The yard is large and the gardening is just beautiful. Goshorn Lake is a very, very short walk from the cottage and once again the Sullivans have given a lot of thought to what their guests might enjoy such as their own deck with a table, umbrella & chairs, a dock, a swimming platform, kayaks, paddle boards and a paddle boat! Yes, life jackets were available too. We used the paddle boat and enjoyed “cruising” around the lake. Brian and Debbie are very friendly, thoughtful and responsive. Some of my local family from Holland came for a visit and all remarked that they would enjoy staying there! If there were more stars available I would give them in all categories. I travel a lot and more times than not opt for a rental vs a hotel. I look forward to staying at The Cottage again.
