Whether you are looking to unplug and connect with nature or explore the small town charm of nearby Berkeley Springs, America's First Spa, there's something for everyone at Limestone Lodge.
Limestone Lodge is a family-owned, A-frame style cabin situated on 5+ acres of pristine West Virginia woodland bordering Cacapon State Park. We are a pet friendly property and invite you to bring along your furry friends.
The cabin can comfortably sleep 8 people across three, thoughtfully themed bedrooms - the Wild & Wonderful, Rhododendron, and Cardinal rooms - and a fold-out couch in the living room. There is also an air mattress available upon request and extra guests may join for an additional nightly fee.
The entire house, screened-in porch, spacious deck, and surrounding wooded area are all for your enjoyment. The keyless entry makes coming and going a breeze.
Rock Gap West
The neighborhood has well-maintained gravel roads, but a 4x4 vehicle may be preferable if visiting during the winter months when there may be ice or snow on the ground. The house is situated at the end of a long road and has plenty of private parking.
There is a firepit available for use, but please note that firewood is not provided.

Our stay was great and there is plenty of exploring to do in Berkeley Springs. It was nice to come back and relax after a long day of hiking and exploring. Our hosts were wonderful. The cabin was actually bigger than we thought, and could easily accommodate a larger family or a few families. Would book again!
Safe neighborhood, trees everywhere!Great house for a relaxing weekend. Kitchen and dishes, cookware, cutlery all very good. Well-lit firepit area. Thanks a lot!
I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway with a friend and our two dogs. It was exactly as advertised and in a great location tucked into the woods just outside of Berkeley Springs. The hosts were easy to work with and communicated with us well. There was a small snowstorm during our stay, and we had no issues with snow removal. We plan to return!
Cozy cabin tucked away in the woods. It was so beautiful with a little snow. We loved spending time relaxing and enjoying the scenery! The house had everything we needed and the communication with the property manager was quick and helpful!
Stayed here to visit the local state parks with my family. Absolutely loved having space away from neighbors, the deck was so wonderful.
The indoor fireplace was a wonderful addition for our cozy November movie night . Really appreciated the comfortable beds and clean linens!
We got great use out of the kitchen, we cook a lot as a family! Made use of what was available but if you’re making big meals maybe bring your larger skillets and sharp knives. Definitely works for simpler meals.
Overall spending time at this property was a great experience for us ♥️
The house looks like the photos. It’s a great secluded location yet close to Cacapon State Park, Berkeley Springs Brewing, Food Lion, and The Butcher Shop. All those places are under 10 minutes from the property. The owner responded quickly to our inquiries.
Cacapon is already a great mountain biking destination. There are a lot more trails going in over the next few years. Hopefully, this property is available on future trips. As we will book it again.
The views out the wall of windows over the “front yard” are amazing. The house is dog friendly. That’s far up on our list of requirements. Pups even enjoyed dinner at Berkeley Springs Brewing one evening complete with some live music.
This home is an excellent place to gather with friends. Well set up to have everything you need in the kitchen and everything is so comfortable! It’s nestled in a neighborhood that provides beautiful views and calming environment. We will definitely be back!
We were so thrilled with our stay at the Limestone Lodge! We had wanted to get away for some relaxing time in the woods with our doggo, and the home had absolutely everything we needed. It’s beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and perfectly situated in nature. We loved that it was so close to Cacapon State Park, but we didn’t even feel the need to do as much hiking as we had planned, because we felt like we were staying in a gorgeous tree house. The hosts were also wonderfully communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be staying again!
Such a cute cabin! Loved the decor, the layout was great for our small family. The rooms were decorated very boho. Wished we had more time to explore & enjoy a fire (fireplace inside and a spot for a bonfire). Host stayed in touch with us, as we had a long drive and arrived later than expected. Patio string lights were on that lit our way and the Christmas tree was on inside so we didn't walk into a dark cabin. Adorable screened in porch with hanging chairs was the perfect quiet spot for coffee in the morning before we hit the road. Will definately be back!
The lodge was spectacular with all of the necessary comforts and more. Our hosts were also accommodating and considerate as the incredible property and lodge were both in excellent condition. In the town we visited and partook in a mineral bath and massage to unwind. We enjoyed the peaceful time in the woods with our pups as we spent much of our time just resting in the amazing lodge. I must say this experience ranks the highest by far when compared to other vacation stays we have experienced in the woods. Thanks for the impeccable service and care of the property!
This beautiful cabin amongst the trees off the beaten path was the perfect place for us to retreat, relax & recharge. Nicely decorated with themed rooms. The kitchen was great. We loved the outdoor lights that have timers to come on at dusk. We also enjoyed the fireplace. ( the local Foodlion sells bundles of kiln dried wood if needed.) We even tried the dog run (first experience for our pup) and that worked out great, he didn't mind it at all. We felt safe, tucked away at the end of the road on 5 acres. Would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely stay! The house was even better than described. You can tell the owner really thought about their guests with each touch. The property is just beautiful and I truly enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch while working. Close to downtown Berkley Springs and Cacapon State Park. Will be coming back!
