Great location close to the trails. House was very clean and well maintained. Heated garage was awesome for snowmobiles and gear. Large parking for easy of use with trailers. Really one of the best places we have rented for snowmobiling. Host was friendly and easy to work with! Even made us banana bread and chili. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.
This house was perfect! Fits our families and kids with plenty of space for everyone. Owner was extremely kind and helpful. I would recommend hickory creek to anyone staying in the area!
Beautiful home. Home owner is close by for anything that you may need. He was nice enough to start up his sauna for a couple of our guest. The host left out homemade banana bread that was absolutely amazing. We will be back
Great house for group gatherings. In addition to the size of the house and bedrooms, there are plenty of games / activities for adults and kids. Bocce ball, cornhole, washers, darts, pool table, ping pong. Our group had a great stay.
The place was beautiful! The only thing I could say bad about it was the beds and the directions to get there were wrong! The room with the two twins the beds were horrible! And a couple of the other beds were like slanted. We didn’t have the greatest phone service up there so when the directions on the VRBO site were wrong it was frustrating trying to get a hold of the host to get the right address. But the place it’s self was great and the hosts were super responsive and we had banana bread waiting for us when we arrived. We also had asked about the horse shoes and they brought them right away! Unfortunately by time my message was sent about the horse shoes we didn’t have time to play. We all enjoyed ourselves so much and would definitely go back!! Lots to do with family and friends at the house and in the area!
We were here for a wedding (Three couples.) Plenty of space and fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table, the card table downstairs and especially the bar! Perfect place for a weekend stay in about 15 minutes minutes from Munising. It’s so funny
Perfect UP get away for 7 cousins. Short drive to sites! We enjoyed hiking to 3 waterfalls and kayaked pictured rocks. Fun family game night in basement/bar with pool table, ping pong, jenga and other games! Enjoyed the lovely back yard, deck and many laughs shared around dining room table. Thank you John!
This location is a good spot for a large group visiting the area. We had a good time playing corn hole in back and playing pool, etc.,.in the basement. Very peaceful!
We were 7 adults and 3 kids. Really spacious and well equipped house. John and Wendy have really gone all out to make it a fun place. They had a loaf of freshly baked banana bread to welcome us into the house. So heart warming. Out of the 6 days, got rained out for 2 days so stayed indoors and enjoyed the pool table, table tennis and board games they had. Plenty of space to hang out.Well equipped kitchen, made all meals at the home. Big capacity washer and 2 dryers that worked really well. Lots of linen and towels. Location was perfect to go to all local attractions. The only downside for us was that the mattresses were too soft.
It was an amazing weekend. The house had plenty of space and plenty to do. The hosts (John and Wendy) were amazing. They were fast to answer any questions we had and the banana bread upon our arrival was such a great gesture. We will definitely be back
The house was amazing. Alot of things to do such as games for the adults and kids. The house was very clean with enough bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall a great place for a upnorth vacation.
The property was clean and beautiful. The owners were so friendly and had chili and banana bread waiting for us when we arrived. Very great hospitality
