Newly remodeled beach home in semi-private, Summer Place community, just 800 ft to the beach. Large pool with tiki bar, Weber gas grill, bluetooth enabled outdoor speakers, privacy fence, large patio with plenty of furniture. Pool can be heated upon request for additional fee.

60" flat screen HDTV in living room with Netflix and YouTube TV. Rinnai tankless gas hot water heater, NO MORE COLD SHOWERS. TV in all bedrooms, USB ports in all bedrooms and fiber wireless internet. Current updates include: new siding, outdoor shower, & covered front porch, fresh paint, new furniture and new Weber gas grill. Bed linens and bath linens included in your stay.

Kitchen and baths have been updated with granite, new sinks, new faucets, new lighting and fully tiled floors. Hardwood looking tile in downstairs bedrooms and living room. Fridge with ice maker and water dispenser. Four dinner tables with lots of seating to accommodate big cookouts. All cookware and utensils are provided. Kitchen equipped with blender, toaster, crock pot, mixer, coffee pot &, keurig. Grill has direct gas hookup, so you never run out. Outdoor hot/cold shower to rinse off from beach.

House is very kid friendly with high chair, activity bounce chair, baby gate and pop up crib. Adult and kids board games and books inside. Plenty of toys in storage chest outside. Bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, games, and umbrellas to take to the beach. Cornhole court in backyard and a large swing for adults to enjoy evening breezes from the ocean.

This house has everything you need and a great location for fun in the sun. Approximately 800 ft from the front door to the beach.

Great spot for families

This was a perfect beach house for our needs. The quiet street is a quick walk to the beach. The pool, patio, and grill areas are awesome for hanging out after a long day at the beach.

Beachbound Properties

Could not have found a more ideal home for the stay of our family! We had age ranges from 2-64 and it worked well for everyone. The home was clean, well maintained and exactly as advertised. There was an easy walk to the beach. The fenced in pool area was a big plus for our fur babies to be off leash with us. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect Getaway in Ocean Isle

This was our first trip to Ocean Isle and we will definitely be back! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the pool and outdoor speakers. The short walk to the beach was so nice with the kids. Thank you for sharing your place!

Wonderful Family Getaway!

This house was perfect for our family reunion. Lots of room, the backyard has a great pool, tons of space and a gas grill. Easy walk to the beach - less than 5 minutes even with my 7 and 9 year old nieces - and there is a crosswalk right at the end of the street so super easy to get across and to the beach. The owner has everything you could need and graciously shares -- bikes, beach umbrellas, chairs, etc. And a great ice cream shop and mini golf right on the island. The house was clean, and it was great that every bedroom has an adjoining bathroom! Alyssa was super responsive to any questions and I had all the info I needed prior to arrival. Wonderful memories for our entire family -- We will definitely come back again!

Exceeded expectations!!!

Every room had its own bathroom if I’m not mistaken, everything we could possibly need for the beach was there, chairs, pool toys, ect. We had a small pool party with friends for my 42nd bday and everyone had a great time!!! We grilled and the pool had speakers and there was a lot of space. The only negative thing I can say is there was a ant hill around the pool but they didn’t bother us much , no one said they were bitten, the pool didn’t get warm tho it was suppose to been heated but we weren’t charged anyway so that wasn’t a big deal we still got it and we had a time going back & fourth down stairs all night lol. Overall excellent stay and awesome host, I would definitely book again!!!!

Pretty nice

The house accommodated a large group well and was very clean. A few small issues such as the coffee maker didn’t work, you couldn’t use the television in the living room without tripping the breaker, we had to make the beds ourselves when we arrived, and several of the toilets either wouldn’t flush or made loud noises when it did flush. I also paid extra to have the pool heated (as we had poor weather for our visit) and it only put out warm water for a few hours before going back to cold. Overall it was a great stay, just a few small inconveniences!

House was great, cleaning could be better

The house was great for our group of families. But we did pay extra for early check-in and the floors were not very clean, everyones feet were very dirty once we walked around barefoot so not sure if the cleaner mopped or not. One shower had globs of hair in it so don't think it was cleaned. And the house had no bed sheets or bath towels upon arrival. They did bring them in the afternoon (we checked in at 10am) and just gave us a bag of sheets and towels. Usually rental houses have the beds made and ready. Otherwise it was a nice house and outdoor area!

Great place in a wonderful location

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay here greatly. It was a great property. Needs a bit of attention and TLC due to overuse but overall it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful house and pool!

All 8 adults and kids loved the house, pool, and short walk to great beach! Kitchen has all the wares. Bikes and beach stuff in outdoor closet. 5 bedrooms and each has a bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Request # towels you want in advance. Paid to warm the pool and it got up to 88! Bring extra paper products and soap. Dog friendly. Easy clean up.

The door locking/unlocked doesn’t work, no toilet tissue paper and kitchen stuff available.

We struggled opening the door every time & contacted the owner frequently for that. No toilet paper provided. We wish we were told that wouldn’t come with the rent, what a shame. Kitchen plates & cooking dishes weren’t available either. Basically, we feel like we were ripped with the price for the property. We didn’t expect Vrbo’s standard is that low. Unfortunately, we learned our lesson in the hard way.

A Perfect September Getaway

The house met our needs totally. We needed to take our dogs and this home is pet friendly although you would never have known pets had been inside the home. Fully equipped kitchen and the outdoor pool was so very nice. The owner was responsive immediately with questions we had upon arrival.

The place was perfect for our first big family gathering since the pandemic. Despite no view of beach (which they didn't promise), the place was big enough for everyone, the kitchen was super well-stocked (even tape, spices, and batteries!), and owner was great when we realized we short one sheet set. The pool, grill and tables/chairs/swing out back were perfect for hanging out with our kids.

Great property and location

We really enjoyed the property. Communication was good when we encountered some small issues (not the owner's fault). The amount of space in the back pool area was a nice surprise; chairs, tables, good privacy. Easy beach access. Would definitely stay here again.

Great House!

We had a great stay here. Working with Alyssa was super easy and she was extremely responsive. The pool was great and it was a short walk to the beach access. The street was not busy and great for the kids to ride bikes. My 3 year old loved the race car toddler bed. You can’t go wrong with this house. Thank you.

Good for a COVID vacation

This house was nice because it was self-contained and we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to wear masks and face the crowds (who were mostly not wearing masks or social distancing) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pool was great and the pool deck was spacious and comfortable for sitting, grilling, eating and playing cornhole. The inside of the house could use some help. The bedding and bathmats are old and stained. The kitchen drawers were not clean. There were dirty pans in the oven. The freezer is super hard to open and kept getting filled with frost and icicles all over the food. The living room is sterile and not comfortable for watching TV as a group. Needs more chairs, ottomans and end tables, and maybe a different arrangement of the furniture. It was nice of the owners to provide bikes, chairs, etc. but the closet that holds these things is so packed you can't really get to anything. Overall a good week but expensive for what you get.

Our family enjoys making memories at our beach home and we truly take pride in making sure our home is constantly updated, clean and enjoyable for our guests. This is definitely our HAPPY PLACE!

Why they chose this property

OIB is a true beach town. OIB has a great park on the island and offers movies and concerts during the Summer months. Enjoy yoga and other workout activities on the beach with local businesses. It is close enough to enjoy all the shopping, entertainment, golf, and theme parks of Myrtle Beach, yet far enough to have complete privacy when you want to get away. Wilmington is only 45 minutes away and is a great place to see history.
