About this property

This Old Kinderhook home has it all! The fun starts the moment you open the front door. Look through the wall of windows at the swimming pool (not heated), the lake and the renowned Old Kinderhook golf course… inviting you to come out and play!

An open comfortable living area, a dining table big enough for your whole crew, and a gorgeous kitchen welcome you. The bedrooms provide a variety of bed sizes so that all ages have that “just right” bed. A large conversation/TV area is made for socializing, and a new quiet room provides a getaway space. Downstairs the beautiful bar, ample recliners around another 70” TV, a gas fireplace, a stand-alone ice maker, pool table & foosball are fun for all.

Outside the lower deck adjoins the beautiful swimming pool (not heated, typically opens mid to late April) where all can splash the day away. The gentle walk to the 2-well dock leads to water fun including many float toys and ski equipment. The upper deck sports a new propane fire pit for relaxing with your favorite beverage at the end of a long busy, fun-filled day. Treat yourself to a vacation you won’t forget!

Wonderful week of family fun!

Excellent Location

Wonderful home and a perfect stay for our large group! The cove that the home is located on is beautiful and quiet, and the house was well maintained. We loved the pool! We rented a boat from a company based recommended by the owner Nicole, which worked out perfectly. Thanks for a great time!

Amazing spot at the lake!

Absolutley loved our stay here. Only con was the driveway- its quite steep and unexpected. However it was managable! Otherwise fantastic house with all the basics you could need. Would stay again for sure

Perfect Getaway

I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a lake/golf getaway! All the amenities you could ask for and a perfect location. The property manager and owners were super responsive and everything was in nearly perfect shape. Hope to be back again, soon!

Celebrating 80th Birthday

We enjoyed our time at this property! The Kinderhook community is very nice. It is a great house for a large family gathering. We were celebrating my mothers 80th birthday and had ,over the course of the week, 19 people in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked as is the whole house. The pool was a great area and also stocked well with toys and floats. Wayne was very responsive to communication and great to work with,

Wonderful family vacation

The house was amazing and accommodated our entire group. The pool brought hours and hours of enjoyment. Being able to bring a boat was the icing on the cake. We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday and had the best time. Would totally stay here again!

Family vacation

We have stayed at a number of properties in the Lake of Ozarks and this one is the best. The home didn’t disappoint! It was accurately described in the listing and accommodations couldn’t have been better! The property manager greeted us and explained every detail. Our family ranges in age from 2-67 it includes our children, their spouses and the grandkids and we all loved everything about the home, the pool, golf, boating, and entertainment area in the basement. Great Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation. There were 15 of us, ages 5 months to 64 years. Old Kinderhook community is great! It offers a peaceful location yet close enough for us to drive to many activities. The house was clean, well stocked and offered everything that we needed. The grandkids especially loved the book/play area. The driveway is very steep but 2 cars were able to park in the garage and the other 2 parked on the street in front of the house. Though the weather was on the cooler side, we were able to take advantage of the pool for a couple of days. Plenty of towels on hand to use. Unfortunately this time of year, the water level on the lake was too low to use the pontoon located at the house. However we were able to use the kayaks and paddleboat. Also did some fishing. Wayne, the house manager, was always responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We would definitely recommend this home for anyone planning a vacation.

AMAZING!!

I could not possibly give justice to how wonderful this home is. We came for our 30th anniversary with our 5 children/spouses and grandchildren. This home is set up so wonderfully for multiple families. The home was clean and welcoming. The location is perfect. The house manager is very accessible and responsive. We had a wonderful vacation stay at this wonderful place! Everything exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness and the property manager is wonderful! We rented the boat for 2 days and had a great time cruising the lake and seeing the local sights. Beautiful golf course a short distance away that we took advantage of as well. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely will be back! No more long road trips to a beach, this is everything and more!

Family vacation get away

Everything went very well. Plenty of towels for both inside and out. Multiple fridges and ice machines were great with a large group. Pool and lake toys/items were enough for everyone. Only downside is if there are more than 2 cars , the driveway is pretty steep.

Great place for a large family

We had a great time! This was ideal for our family of 20. Pool was an added bonus Check in was very smooth. The address and dead end cove was especially good for kids swimming in the lake. We have rented thru VRBO for over 12 years and this was one of the best. Well equipped with everything you need. All the extras (spices, Tp, paper towels etc.. so appreciated. We look forward to coming again!!
