About this property

Serenity abounds in this beautiful 93-year-old farmhouse with mountain views.

Welcome to Serenity at Hilltop Farmhouse. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis surrounded by nature. This charming vintage farmhouse is located at the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with scenic drives to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Asheville, North Carolina.

If you are a writer, a spiritual seeker, a meditator, or a graduate student conducting research or working on your thesis, you will find this the perfect setting.

Pick your porch to relax on; the north porch gives a dreamy view of the valley, and the south screened-in porch boasts a porch swing and gracious space for entertaining while soaking in the forest. Expect quiet and serenity.

This century-old farmhouse has many original features, like knotty pine ceilings and wood floors. The charm is in the slightly creaky floors and "unevenness" here and there.

Sit on the porch and enjoy the fireflies, deer, and natural smells. It is so quiet and peaceful that you'll fall asleep quickly and sleep like a baby.

Perfect little house on a hill

Beautiful little piece of property and farmhouse! The home is secluded but still only a short 4 minute ride onto main street Sparta. It's very quiet and peaceful here, the house is well appointed, clean and spotless. This is country living with deer, birds, rabbits, turkeys and chipmunks visiting all day. If you're into a laid back getaway with mountains and hiking and kayaking and the blueridge parkway and really nice people you may want to consider staying here

Serenity Review

This is a beautiful farmhouse in a peaceful setting. The house was spotless and very well kept. I was impressed! Had plenty of supplies for cooking but we ate out mostly, as it is very close to the town of Sparta. We saw deer every evening from the front door. Early one morning we saw deer right in the yard.
