We had a great time in this cozy Red cabin. Location was close to town and Lake. Master bedroom was nice and spacious not a great dining area, we played games a lot, but worked. I would definitely recommend this to others.
My family has been vacationing in Tawas/Oscoda for years and I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. The listing is completely accurate, the house is impeccably clean and so very well-appointed, the owner is thoughtful, responsive, and helpful, and we loved our stay. All of us had an incredible time. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bathrooms were well-stocked, the location was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend staying here!
5 friends stayed here for 3 nights. We loved the cleanliness, the very well appointed kitchen, and the sunset on the lake. The "lake" is more of a wetlands but had the weather been better, we probably would have availed ourselves of the 2 kayaks. Communication with host was excellent. We would surely consider staying here again.
house was so clean and exactly what we wanted. the hosts communication was amazing as well any and all question were answered quickly. the lake access even gave us a chance to see the northern lights our first night there. would highly recommend this place for a family vacation anytime. can't wait til next year for our trip either we will try to book this place again if available.
Cute, cozy little cabin in a great neiborhood. Okay for a couple or a small family.

Not clean.
If you are planning on going to relax- you will have to wash the dishes and sweep the sandy floors first. Then shop for a dishpan and a
rubber tub mat. I slipped in the new tub and bruised my leg. 8/5-9
I arrived, after driving 18 hours, from the South. I will never do that again! Matt had been checking up on me while I was headed to the house. He kept up the messages even after normal business hours. Every question I had was answered and every FAQ was covered. There was a welcome book that was a reminder of the things Matt had already noted. The rooms were all done, with what seemed like, the help of an interior designer. I loved the master bedroom uostsirs. It has the most comfortable bed I think I’ve ever been in. The bathroom has a pocket door, it’s little touches like that throughout the entire house.I was especially drawn to the dragonfly room The nice TV’s we’re just the right sizes for the rooms they were in. I also liked how the hot water didn’t go cold after a toilet flush, or laundry going while showering. If you are going to stay and explore East Tawas, I strongly recommend staying at Matt’s rental. I know it was worth every dollar and more.
