Yearly vacation

My husband and I look for a place we can take our dogs on a vacation once a year. This was a great place for us. We look for places with WiFi and trails on the property to walk with our dogs. This place is quiet, secluded and with well groomed trails on the property. Our dogs loved it. This is definitely on our list to revisit.

If you're looking for a quiet, secluded cabin in the woods to get away from the chaos of everyday life, then this is the place for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. The cabin is very clean and includes just about everything you could need.

Great Cabin

Love the various seating options outside and the inside is super cozy. The kitchen was stocked well with what was need to make meals there which was nice. Cozy living room too. Stairs took a bit of getting used to get into the loft/upstairs but added to the vibe of a cozy cabin- I also appreciated the motion activated lights on the stairs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Simply delightful

We could only get away for a short stay for our anniversary this year, but we prefer to find a charming cabin in the woods. I think this may have been my favorite yet. Well appointed, very clean, and with just the right mix of modern to antique creature comforts, this cabin could very well serve for a longer stay. Personal highlights: native plants teaming along the trail, the sunporch and comfy bonus reading area, a welcome basket on the kitchen island, and the books I've added to my wishlist. It's apparent a lot of thought was put into the details. Thank you for the hospitality!

Great stay

The cabin was a great in the woods stay. It was clean, cozy, and private. Owner was very nice and stayed in communication with me during our stay. Definitely recommend staying.

Charming cabin.

This is the most charming cabin. Great location in the woods away from others. A true piece of heaven. Dave, the host, was amazing as well. Highly recommend and will be back!

Very Relaxing Place to Stay

Secluded paradise

We can’t say enough good things about this cabin and about David. Everything was wonderful, and it was the most peaceful getaway weekend. The cabin had everything we could have needed, specifically the kitchen - it was an extremely updated and beautiful kitchen! We enjoyed our time here so much that we have already started planning our trip back!

It was THE BEST ☺️ ahhhh.

Thank you SO MUCH! This retreat was exactly what we needed. We just celebrated our 26th anniversary in June (lotsa trips/travels), and we agreed this was the best EVER 💕 Everything was great from the “cute” to the “dog treats” you left for Lucie 🐾. We felt right at home, as did Lucie. We look forward to the next stay in OCT for Ruben’s birthday, and to becoming “regulars”. This is a healthy kinda “regular” we all need. We both meditate daily at home to help us stay grounded & present in the chaos of daily life (getting easier now that we’re thankfully retired). The CABIN…let’s just stay we were in a meditative state (present) the entire time without even trying. The title sums it up; it was THE BEST.
