Thanksgiving Getaway

Amazing property and great neighborhood. House was clean and ready to go. The bathroom, some towels and beddings had spots on them and were not clean. But overall a great experience.

Great big home!

Excellent home, very clean and well kept. Loaded with appliances and everything you might need during your stay. Management was more than accommodating and quick to respond. Easy parking access. Strongly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! 5 stars

NASCAR Race

We choose this home because we were going to the NASCAR Race at Pocono Raceway. We went with our two sons and nephew. It was a little farther from the track but we chose this home based on its reviews. We didn’t want any surprises. Well it didn’t disappoint. The home is beautifully maintained and bedding and pillows were comfy. We really enjoyed the Fooseball table. I am not sure who enjoyed it more my sons and nephew or husband. My husband was the big winner so I guess it was him! We also went to the Casino in the evening which was a lot of fun too. In fact one of my son’s did pretty well! Overall I would give this property a 5 STAR rating and would definitely stay there again!

Lacks Essentials and misleading Ad

Received check in email around 2:30 pm while our stay started at 4:00 pm. Email stated restrictions of what is expected as guests such as NO FOOD in the living room (no popcorn while watching the huge TV!) NO SHOES IN THE CARPET AREAS (most of the house except kitchen and dining room. The house appeared to be new and clean but upon entry we found huge ants in the kitchen living areas and in bedrooms. We had total of 8 guest but only found 6 chairs in the dining room. When I requested for additional chairs, management told me to use the bar stools in the kitchen. We ended up using our coolers as seats since the stools were too high up for the table. We only found 4 bath towels in the entire house so each couple had to share the towels for the 3 night stay. When we tried to dry the towels, upon opening the washer/dryer closet, there was a sign stating that $20 will be charged if we use the appliances. When I confronted the management regarding towels, the management told me that the sign did not apply to me and told me to use the washer/dryer. To whom do the signs apply to? Kitchen had no cutting knifes bigger than 4", sparse cookware and not enough wine glasses, not enough coffee cups for 8 and NO Wine bottle opener. Had cameras outsides and many sensors inside which made us feel as if the management was watching us. No grill, no outdoor furniture, no outside area to lounge. Hard to control thermostat (pre set). We were very uncomfortable and not enjoy the stay.

Property not as advertised

Unfortunately, this property was vandalized by the previous renters, who wrote with black permanent marker on the white walls and on a leather stool. There were stains on the carpets from food and beverage spills that also left the home with a carpenter ant problem, both upstairs in the bedrooms and in the kitchen/living room. The owners had tried to clean the house and I am sympathetic to their situation, as some of the writing on the walls contained racial slurs. But, we feel we should have been notified of the condition of the home and offered a full refund BEFORE arriving. This is not an inexpensive rental and there were other homes available in the area that had availability. The home is large, spatious and was nicely decorated and would have been worth the price if it was in the condition that we expected and if it contained the supplies to match the size of the home. The many kitchen cabinets were largely empy; there were only 4 plates, 4 bowls and limited forks and knives. There were not enough bath towels and the owners ask for an additional $20 to use the washer and dryer. I contacted the owner, who was aware of the issues, and while he was apologetic, he did not offer any compensation except for a discount on a future stay which will obviously not happen, especially as we are from cross country. I had simply asked for the cleaning fee and the mandatory insurance fee to be refunded but was denied this request.

50th Birthday Celebration

The property was great! The property manager was always quick to respond! I had a lot of questions. Overall a great stay. The house was beautiful! The only issue was in the kitchen there were a lot of large tree ants. Might want to that treated. Also the kitchen needed to be aticked a little better. We made it work though and really enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

Girls skiing weekend

Ski Trip

Such a great stay at this lovely home! There was six of us enjoying a weekend getaway and we couldn’t be more pleased. We visited shawnees mountain ski area, and enjoyed the evening at the house. The house is brand new with new appliances, an island counter top, and a master suit with a jetted bathtub. We cooked, watched tv, and ate dinner in the dining room. It was a home away from home, and great way to spend time with close friends.

Birthday Trip

I live in the area and booked this stay to celebrate my 21st birthday with some friends. The house was beautiful, clean, and accommodated us very well. Mamadou was an amazing host, I was having issues messaging on my Vrbo app and had to call Mamadou a couple of times, he was very helpful and timely and did everything he could to make sure we had a good stay. The location was perfect, just set off enough to be in our own space, but not too far up the mountain that we were close enough to in town.

There were 7 of us celebrating a friend’s 50th birthday. The house smelled brand new and was very clean and spacious. Beds were super comfortable. We would Definitely stay there again. The owners were quick to answer and questions.

Short but pleasurable stay

I had family visiting from out of town to attend my NYE wedding and they stayed here. My mom who is often very opinionated and difficult to please absolutely enjoyed her stay at this property. She said it was very clean, comfortable and enjoyable. She also said she would absolutely stay again. The host was very accommodating, I had a couple of questions before their arrival and they were very quick to respond, which I appreciated very much.

This house was great

I couldn’t be more happy with renting this house. It was spacious and beautiful. The rooms were big. The kitchen l, living room, and deck was a plus. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. Beautiful new home in a very quiet neighborhood!

Had a group of 6 friends stay here for our trip to Mpact weekend at poconos race track and we were all astounded at how beautiful the home is! Everything is brand new, you can smell it as soon as you walk in. Peaceful and quiet area to relax for a weekend with more than enough space for everyone! The host was very friendly and accommodating to our arrival as we were coming from all 4 hours away, definitely be rebooking this home the next time we stay in the poconos!

Quite weekend gateway with everything you need

We were a little bit hesitate to book since it's a brand new property but Mamadou’s house is a absolute hidden gem. Within a quite neighborhood you will find this spacious house close to the trees just as displayed in the pictures. We enjoyed our short stay here and definitely would come back for the future trip around!
