Beautiful, quiet, private, natural, rustic waterfront all-season chalet to experience the best of Prince Edward County. Four spacious rooms to accommodate 8 adults plus kids. The two upstairs rooms provide tranquil views of the lake. Very kid friendly (a crib, a toddler bed, two pack n play beds, 2 bunk beds, 2 high chairs and more). Well equipped and stocked kitchen to make lasting memories.

Family weekend in Prince Edward Clunty

Lovely stay! The property was exactly as described. Big kitchen and indoor and outdoor eating areas were perfect. Quiet and peaceful location.

Beautiful Cottage in PEC

The cottage is beautiful and right in the lake. The location is great and many amenities such as a toddler bed, canoe and kayak were available. The trampoline and little jungle gym were great for my toddler. There was some confusion when we checked in and the cottage had not yet been cleaned. There was also an issue with wasps that required the exterminator to come twice. The owners were very good in communicating and resolved the issues quickly. Overall a good stay

Disappointment

Cottage has potential but fell well short of our expectations in terms of the condition & transparency from the owner. Prior to arrival, we were never informed there was a bee infestation 2nd level, this meant we could not use the bedrooms we wanted. Owner offered to send an exterminator, but according the cleaner, one was there earlier. Didn't see the point of having the exterminator interfere with our vacation. Couldn't find other accommodations so we settled to use the main floor only. The main floor bedrooms, 1 room with a queen size box spring & double mattress. My husband & I had a horrible night on the ultra soft mattress that was way too small & as a result SLEPT ON THE COUCH for the remainder of the week. My young adult kids were in the bunk bed rm, mattresses were very thin & not meant for kits over 80lbs so they did not sleep well (& had hoped for their own rm). At arrival fire pit was trashed with bottles,bags etc. Other areas not well cleaned:coffee pot (coffee/grinds), oven, fridge & particularly freezer, shower stall). Windows cranks did not work in many rooms & needed shut from the outside. We'd wake up to the bathroom full of bugs every am even when windows shut. Pictures of each issue sent, property manager responded to my complaints & I felt he was genuinely concerned but in the end the OWNER refunded 1 night which was not acceptable. Cleaning & sleeping on a couch is NOT a vacation. Access to 1/2 house NOT acceptable.Owner transparency-none. Save your $$
