Islander Beach Resorts have access to one of Okaloosa Island's largest gulf-side pools, a shuffleboard court, and a barbeque grill area. A quick stroll across the boardwalk puts you right on the beach! All guests have Free High-Speed Internet access in their unit, as well as wireless Internet access in our lobby.
Islander Beach Resort has a two vehicle limit.
The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving and beginning the week of Christmas until March 31st.

Family Fun

Everything was wonderful! Only a couple dislikes. The washer quit working, the bathtubs would fill with water when taking a shower and no dvd player in the unit for movies and we had to request an iron.

The front second bedroom window does not move. The reason this is mentioned is the air did not seem to ever get the condo down to 75°. We tried for awhile having it set at 75° so we then resorted to having the windows open all the time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here at the end of July and our only complaint was the really gross water. Usually the water is gorgeous but with all the storms in July it was dark, murky and full of seaweed. But the unit was gorgeous and clean and absolutely charming. We could hear people on either side of us when they would run up and down their condos which got annoying but you can't expect total quiet in the summer at the beach. ;) The washing machine got pretty loud during its spin cycle so we tried to only use that during the day so we wouldn't disturb our neighbors. But everything was great and we'd definitely rent this unit again! :)

We have stayed at the Islander several times, first time in this particular condo. Loved it! Very clean, nicely decorated, will definitely be booking this room again. Loved the fact it was on the second floor, close to the stairs (get those steps in!).

Our condo was dirty when we arrived I had to clean it. There was candy in our bed and candy on the entertainment center-very hard to miss if someone actually came in and cleaned. Other than that our stay was nice it’s close to beach access, appliances are very old. Could use a new toaster. I didn’t expect any of these things to be here but overall I would consider staying Again.

Great Property

This condo was as advertised. We loved it! Clean and mostly updated. Beds were comfortable. Good view of the beach from the big porch. Being near the end of the building and on the floor above the underground parking garage, it was so easy to just walk down one flight of stairs and hit the wooden walkway to the beach. It was such a nice perk to have use of an umbrella and two chairs as part of our rental. Loved it and already booked it for next year!

Perfect getaway

This condo was the perfect place for my family to stay. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. It was quite and beautifully decorated. We did a lot of hopping between the pool and beach. If you are looking for places to eat we recommend Stewby and Old Bay that are just down the street from the condo or you could walk to the pier (roughly two miles in the sand) to eat at the Crap Trap.

Exceeded Expectations

The Islander was recommended by some good friends of ours and it did not disappoint. Location was great, the condo/balcony were perfect and the chair guy at the beach was awesome. Loved the quietness of the island and we had for the most part, fabulous weather. We are definitely planning on coming back.

Absolutely wonderful experience!!

This property was beautiful, very clean and well stocked with necessities, was close to everything but yet there was a sense of privacy that you got from the area as well, which was exactly what we were looking for. Communication for reservations and any questions was very prompt, friendly and helpful. It was a much needed vacation for our family in a wonderful location and property. We definitely plan to be back! Love this property!

Far exceeded our expectations!

This is by far a new favorite condo! My husband and I met my sister and brother-in-law here for a 5 night stay. It was quiet, not crowded, close to our favorite restaurants. The pics on line need to be upgraded! So much brighter and nicer!

The 4 of us had plenty of room really enjoyed the great decor and the furniture was comfortable. We did have maintenance come to tighten the table as it wobbled and they showed up quickly. We did frequently trip stepping out on balcony but there is nothing that can be done for that. We would definitely recommend this unit. We would recommend the property owners do something about the slippery steps getting into the pool several people including myself slipped. As a result I have missed work and will probably need a surgery to fix my knee.
