YOU MUST ENTER AN ACCURATE GROUP COUNT TO RESERVE!!!! Our 3000s.f. home sits on 3.8 acres DIRECTLY ON THE MAIN DIVE SPRINGS of the crystal clear Rainbow River! The absolute premiere location on the river! Why? Check the map! We are UPRIVER of the KP Hole - the county park where thousands of tubers (and boaters) enter the river and float downstream. We are on the widest upriver section with numerous deep springs located directly off the backyard! Swim, snorkel, scuba dive or kayak in peace without massive congestion. Kayak 1 mile upriver to the head springs and state park - the most pristine and preserved section of the river - and then float back to the house. The head springs and first 1700 feet of the river prohibit motorized vessels, anchoring, fishing, tubing and diving, so kayakers are treated with the most abundant experience of wildlife, native vegetation and crystal clear water anywhere on the river! Or, tube about 1/2 mile to the KP Hole and walk back to the house. Of course, the adventurous can still jump in the river with tubes for the 4 hour float downriver to Swampy's Restaurant at the bridge take-out.

Stay with us and avoid the costs of renting kayaks and tubes, transportation fees and park entrance fees (not to mention waiting in long, hot lines for hours). Perfect for family reunions and other gatherings. Four large bedrooms contain enough beds to sleep 20 (4 Queens, 12 twins). Only a 3-night minimum. Use of 20 single-person kayaks, 3 paddle boards and 10 tubes included at no charge!
SORRY, but we do not allow events such as weddings or large parties that would put more than 25 people at any one time on our property.
NO ATV's, dirt bikes, go carts, or other similar vehicles permitted on property.
Sorry, no pets, no exceptions.
Check in is 5PM and check out is by 11AM/No exception in the summer season

NOTE: Only $500/night for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during the off-season in 2024 (except Nov. 27 and Dec. 24, 25, 30, 31). The season runs 5-24-24 to 9-1-24 and has higher rates of $700 to $800 (July 4th weekend only is $900).

Day guests $35 per person/day. Must notify in advance. Min. rental age: 25

Grandmother floats the River with Teenager Grands!

We were 11 strong, the kids are no longer ba ies! And we all loved our experience. All the amenities supplied, plenty of towels, blankets, tvs, beds. Bowls for fruit and ceral..it was all there. Shower soap, shampoo, table tennis, smores on the open flame, hambergers on the grills! Tvs in every room, hot water for showers, a desk to spread out our office work..Our family loved it! Kayaking and tubeing..and life vests for everyone. Thak you so much for this Spring Break get away. I couldnt let them go down the rive without me..nature at its best! So grandma went too!

Absolutely wonderful home

We had a wonderful stay right on Rainbow River. The activities provided by the host home was a huge blessing for our crew. We kayaked, fished, swam, played volleyball. The kitchen had everything we needed. I appreciated how organized the home was. Plenty of towels for everyone. Having access to multiple washer and dryers was very helpful. I hope we can stay again in the future with our family. I highly recommend this house.

The perfect place to host my women’s yoga and wellness retreat

Our stay was perfect! The house is laid out in a great way for big groups to feel together and also have their own space. The kitchen had everything I needed to be cooking for a group of 15 with ease. The host was always quick to respond and the property is right on a peaceful part of the river with very easy kayak access and they supplied the kayaks. I plan to stay here again and will make it a yearly rental. I could not have asked for a better experience and I highly recommend this place for family functions or things like that.

This property was perfect for our family ( 6 adults and 4 children ages 5,6,9 & 10). Very spacious and amenities were perfect for where it is located. Definitely a10 out of 10!

Everything we wanted and more

We wanted a family vacation that would allow us to enjoy not only each other's company but what Rainbow River had to offer. With 9 of us, mostly adults, in our group, it was going to be a challenge to find a house that satisfied everyone. Well, with this house, we did! It was clean, right next to Rainbow River, very nicely equipped kitchen and yet, close to town for those quick supermarket runs. Check in and check out was easy, wifi was actually pretty good and everything we could possibly need to have a good time at the river was provided including floaters, vests, kayaks, etc. Outdoor and indoor games were also plentiful. The toilets flushed, plenty of TP was provided, the beds were comfortable and Teri was very responsive. Next time will be at this place again for sure.

Mini extended family vacation

There were 11 of us and plenty of room for everyone plus some. We were all able to comfortably fit in the couches in the living room for movie night, everyone had their own clean bed, and there was more than enough kayaks, games and activities for all of us.

Spacious getaway in the perfect location

We had a wonderful time at this property. The owners were in constant communication and any message I sent them was responded to in a very timely manner. The rooms were large with more beds than we could fill. It has a really neat dynamic with two rooms upstairs and two down. The house is a little dated, but has a great flow and tons of usable space for large groups. The spotlight of this visit was the property. It's very large and has a ton of stuff to do on it. We had a fire at the fire pit, played lots of ping pong and there were also two nets up for volleyball or badminton. They had a ton of kayaks and we used those daily. The location is north of KP hole, so you get a lot less traffic on the river as some other properties that I have stayed at. There is a really nice little beach area at the kayak launch site and once you swim out, there is a spring right there. If you have a large group, family reunion, or just want the perfect location on the river, this is the spot. I will definitely be renting with them again. I have stayed at 4 or 5 different properties on the Rainbow River and this is by far my favorite.

Perfect Stay

A couple years ago my family camped at Rainbow River Campground. During our stay, and while out in the water, we scoped out the best area of the river so we could rent a house next time we came. When we went searching for rentals i recognized this rental property as one of the best spots on the river so we jumped at the chance to book it. And when we arrived and got out on the water we realized we made the right choice. There were three families in our group. And we had seven children from age 1-10. There was something for everyone to enjoy about this house. Our whole group loved it. Everyone enjoyed the paddleboards and kayaks and our children were all paddling on their own by the end of our 3 night stay. The waterfront area of this house is the best on the river. While it is directly on the river it is set back just a little bit, giving the kids such a perfect area to just swim and float around and practice their skills paddling. And this gave the adults the chance to just sit back and relax while the kids had fun. One day we were there we had a lot of rain and we loved having the ping pong table out in the carport to keep us entertained during that time. As for the inside of this house there was some charm about it. It’s an older house but kept perfectly clean. Soooo much space to store and cook food. There were also plenty of games and toys stocked for the kids. The living area was nice and spacious. The owner was very responsive and we cant wait to come back.

Family Reunion

The house was just perfect!! Huge and spacious with plenty of beds. Huge living room spacious enough to fit the entire family for movie night. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Kayaks and life vests with whistles ready in house at no additional cost. The river behind the house had a shallow area perfect for the toddlers to play. Multiple appliances in kitchen and laundry room. My family of 17 loved it and plan to come again. Owner was very attentive and always ready to assist. I don’t have one bad thing to say. It was awesome. 5 starsss

Fantastic Getaway

Hi: We got together with extended family and stayed here. 15 guests, 4 families. Everything was perfect, clean and comfortable. The location of this huge lot on the crystal clear and cold running Rainbow River could not be better. Abosotuialy fantasticc. We will stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations

Great Property, has all the details. Rainbow River is great, it’s just amazing. I rented good properties on this river and bad ones. Always had a good time because the river is so amazing. This property is a really good one, great for 4 families w kids (boys), house is great, they thought of and provided everything you need. The property is huge and the location and launch point is awesome. Owner and staff very responsive. I wish all vrbo owners had it together like this.

Small sibling reunion

My sister's and brothers flew in to help wish my mother a happy 73rd birthday! I had booked the property with plenty of room for all five families. It ended up being primarily the siblings (no kids) and we had an awesome time! Beautiful property and an amazing spring. If I had to do it all again I'd made sure all the kids could come and enjoy! An Absolutely amazing experience!

Best place we have stayed on the River

We have stayed in 4 places over the years directly on the Rainbow River. This was by far our favorite place. The locatiin was perfect, nice large property. It fit our 4 familes perfectly. We really enjoyed celebrating Independence Day here. We will definitely stay here again. So much fun and relaxing for all. Thank you!

An Amazing Weekend at Rainbow River!!

Our family (16 - 18 people, ages 5 through 65) enjoy family vacations together each year, and this one was exceptional! The third time we have stayed on Rainbow River, we found the home and the location well above expectations. The location: upriver from KP Hole (less tubers), wide exceptionally clear water, loved that the water entrance was shallow for the younger family, a relatively easy kayak up to the main boil, and a nice 45 minute tube float to KP Hole with a ten minute walk to the house. It was done several times per day by all members of the family! Grocery store and Walmart very close drive. The home - beds for everyone! Very open floor plan dining to living room. Heads up - only access to second floor is a spiral staircase. Youngers loved it, but might be a consideration. The house was obviously set up for large groups - two microwaves, three refrigerators (this has always been a challenge), large shelves for storage. The yard if extremely large, with volleyball and badmitton nets in the back. Having rented on the river before, the ability to grab tubes and kayaks right there on property was amazing! There was a floating dock on the back, fish were small, but plentiful and lots of fun fishing for the littles. Teri was so easy to work with, and I had her phone number before we arrived. I really didn't need anything, but when I did reach out she very prompt in replying. One thing everyone commented on was how clean the home was! We will be back!!!

Fun on the Rainbow River

Our visit was perfect. The house was spotless and well stocked. Ever water toy you could possibly need is available. Would recommend the house, river, and especially the location.

This property has a lot to offer! Huge yard with recently added volleyball net. Great location on the river with an abundance of kayaks! House has a nice big living area and plenty of beds! We enjoyed our stay and had a great time on the River!

River house fun

Our family and friends enjoyed exploring the river with the hosts kayaks, tubes, and SUP boards. Our only regret is not booking our trip longer. It was the most relaxing and fun vacation we have been on. We hope to return again and again!
