We recently stayed at this property for a work trip for my husband. The communication and responsiveness from the manager was excellent - we had a billing issue and she was very easy to work with through it all so I was excited. The property itself was plenty of space, however the floors turned our feet black over and over within 30 minutes of us arriving to the end of our stay. I had to keep cleaning my kids feet constantly. They also only provide 2 trash bags and 2 dishwasher pods for the entire stay (5 nights for us) which we used within the first couple days. They also asked us to load and start the dishwasher when we left and take out the trash which then uses half of your supplies for clean up only. When asking for more I was told I needed to buy them…after spending over 1000 dollars I thought that was a little crazy, and I have never had that happen at a rental before. Seems like basic supplies. Perhaps 1 each per day seems more reasonable. Location was near his work facility and 30 minutes from the beach which was nice.
My family stayed here when we came to Brunswick for my grandmother’s funeral. The house was in the perfect spot: close to the grocery store, quiet neighborhood that was easy to get in and out of, close to restaurants and the bowling alley, and close to the church the funeral was at. The house was the perfect size for my family and we realized that some family friends lived in the same neighborhood so we were able to walk over to their house. Two bedrooms have king sized beds, and the second has two twin beds. The living room has a huge sectional sofa that also folds out into a queen sized bed.
The yard is big and fenced in, but the fence has some loose boards so I kept my dog on his leash while outside. The kiddos loved the swingset and treehouse outside. The house backs up to an elementary school and the school’s outdoor emergency lights illuminated the back yard at night.
The house was pretty clean, but not spotless. There was some sand on the floor, but we all wore our socks around the house since it was cold outside. The screens on the back patio had become unsecured because of recent storms. One of the smoke detectors started squealing on our final day because of dead batteries, but we let the property manager know. There was also not any replacement garbage bags for the kitchen trash, but we had a giant homegoods bag we could use.
Overall my family really enjoyed our stay. We booked with less than 24hrs until check in and are glad we stayed here instead of a hotel
