Butte House - Pet friendly home with a private hot tub

This very rustic home sits peacefully on the edge of town is surrounded by breathtaking views and large yard for privacy and play. Please note this home has major wear and tare due to it being pet friendly and in town. Hot tub nestled under deck off master bath. There is a comfortable couch or queen blowup bed in the additional studio space located above the garage.

Just a short stroll or a townie bike ride a few blocks away from this charming and friendly resort town offering art/wine festivals, out/indoor concerts, theater, tennis, shopping, ice skating rink, skateboard, and town parks, along with fabulous restaurants & fun nightlife. Half a block from a convenient free shuttle through town, or jump on for a quick 5 min. ride to a chair lift for skiing or summer downhill biking/ hiking in wildflower splendor.

A nonrefundable $250 Dog fee is required if you bring your furry friend. We will allow a 2nd dog for an additional $50. You must notify us in advance.

Beautiful, large home in town of Crested Butte

The house is well laid out, as described online, and perfectly situated on the outskirts of the town of crested Butte such that it is a quick walk to the main street and also has a beautiful view of the mountains. We would definitely stay there again.

Location & Delightfull

Although this home was built in 1989 the workmanship & attention to details was great. We had another couple with us as well as Tequila Rose our boxer girl. We arrived after a pretty large snowfall and was able to picture us in the alps. We used all 3 levels and the proximity to stores, secret stash pizza, and the ski mountain was perfect It is dated and needs a couple of repairs on the outlets for plug ins but would definitely recommend this house to rent.

Awesome cabin with perfect location

We loved the cabin and the rustic mountain atmosphere. We enjoyed the hot tub and the back yard. The location was perfect for getting to and from the ski resort shopping and restaurants. Crested Butte is awesome we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and the location was great. A short walk to Elk Street and easy access to the Mountain for skiing.

Anniversary weekend

The house is a great location and beautiful view. Plenty of space and easy walk to town. The property could be better about maintenance as numerous items were broken or not working and should be simple fixes such as windows that don’t close and window shades not working.

Family ski trip

The layout worked great for our family. We had tons of snow and the driveway was kept shoveled and the deck was too. Some of the bed sheets were dirty and the dishwasher clogged but we had epic powder days and all our concerns washed away. Id stay here again.

Great location!

Overall we had a great trip. The location of this property is hard to beat, and the view from the front yard is amazing. However, there is no seating in the front yard, so views are hard to enjoy. The hot tub is in the back yard, which currently faces a large construction project. Rooms downstairs were a little dark and dusty, but we weren't there much because there is so much to do in CB!

Butte House

Once it was a beautiful mountain home. Now it is tired and worn. Upholstered furnishings and carpet are shabby. Many repairs are needed, faucets drip, powder room toilet seat broken, and deck and blinds need repair, for example. Cleanliness is fair. Windows need washing. Not toddler safe. Views and location are great. It has a great location and spectacular views.

Second time staying, house is great for a group - very comfortable, lots of places to hang out, including 2nd floor outdoor deck. Excellent spot for easy walking around town. Quiet street, great yard.

Thanksgiving getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable house in a great location, just steps away from the bus to skiing and short walk to town for dinner. House was comfortable and clean and we will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Great family house!

This property worked great for my whole family! It was the perfect amount of space to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend! Also, great location. I’ve stayed in multiple rental homes in Crested Butte and this was far enough away from Elk Ave to avoid the noise of the heavy traffic of the holiday weekend but close enough to walk to everything! Would definitely stay again!
