Kade Villa is located along the Nieuwe Kade at It Terpspaed 3 | 9001 AP Grou.

This beautiful 3 bedroom villa is nestled in the heart of quaint Frisian village Grou, directly on the Pikmeer Lake with access to Princess Margriet Canal and the waterways of the northern province of the Netherlands and the IJselmeer.

Kade Villa Grou's living room and dining area have gorgeous lake views. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the laundry room and has access to a lovely square with a view of the ancient Sint Pieter Church.

Upstairs, one bedroom with a queen size bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds have lake view, the third bedroom with 2 single beds has a view of the square and the church. The large bright bathroom has a double sink, a toilet, a shower and a bath tub.

The attic is not included in the rental it is under the slated roof and houses the utility room with water heater and furnace , etc., in addition to the owners storage closet.

Grou is filled with lovely shops, boutiques, cafes, restaurants and the famous Thee Huis, (Tea House) directly on the lake. In the warm Summer months, this little village is full of vacationers enjoying the outdoor activities, from sailing to biking, to hiking in the many national parks or simply enjoying lunch or an aperitif on one of the many terraces.

Nearby towns such as Leeuwarden, Sneek, Dokkum and Harlingen are also worth a visit.
Small sailboats and motorboats are available for rent by the docks, to enjoy a nice ride on the lake.

"Villa"??

Wir waren 7 Tage in der "Villa" kade Grou, mit insgesamt 6 Personen, 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kindern. Grou ist ein sehr schönes Örtchen mit einer guten Infrastruktur, alles Notwendige vor Ort, Restaurants, Geschäfte, etc. Ferner einige Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bahnhof ist ( ca. 20Min.Fussweg ) in der Nähe und Bushaltestelle, wenn man mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln reisen möchte. Die sog. "Villa" ist sehr schön gelegen, mit Blick auf den Hafen. Wenig Autoverkehr, so dass es kaum Lärmbelästigung gab. Städte Leeuwarden und Sneek lohnen einen Ausflug. Auch für nder gibt es viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten. Leider entsprach der Ferienaufenthalt nicht dem , was wir von Ferienwohnungen gewohnt sind, die sich in dieser Preisklasse bewegen. Nornalerweise bekommt man 3 Tage vorher Infos über den Check in. Dies war nicht der Fall. Tagelang keine Reaktion der Vermieterin auf unsere Anfrage, mehrnals Kontakt mit Fewo, dann Reaktion 2 Tage vorher durch die Vermieterin, mail Kontakt Hin und Her, dann Info. Die Ansprechpartnerin war weder beim Einchecken noch beim Ausschecken persönlich anwesend. Der Hintereingang war offen,der Schlüssel lag auf dem Esszimmertisch. Es gab ausser Wlan keine Infos in der Gästemappe Teilweise waren die Schränke verschlossen und überall persönliche Dinge in den Schränken. Private!!.Eine Klimaanlage tropfte ständig. Oberflächliche Sauberkeit, Flocken unter den Betten,überall Staub von Monaten, abgelaufene Lebensmittel 9/23. Defekte Dusche usw

Sehr schönes Haus mit Stil in toller Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, das Haus hat uns allen gut gefallen, der Blick auf die einfahrenden Yachten und Boote war sehr unterhaltsam und wir haben selbst ein Boot gechartert und haben das nahe Naturschutzgebiet erkundet! Top!

Great location to enjoy vacation

We enjoyed our family vacation in the pretty little village of Grou. Ideally located for activities on the water as well as bike tours to the many beautiful neighboring villages. The house has everything we needed, we (4 people from 82 to 19 years old) all felt very comfortable. Very helpful quick contact on site for questions.

Urlaub über der Jahreswechsel

Wir waren als Familie vor Ort zwei Erwachsene und vier Kinder im Alter von 12 - 19 Jahren, die Wohnung und das Haus ist genauso wie beschrieben. Wünderschöne Lage mit Schiffen vor der Tür . Grou ist ein toller Ort mit allem was man zum Entspannen braucht, Einkaufen, Essen & Shoppen alle zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin sowie der Person vor Ort, war super einfach und hat wunderbar funktioniert. Wir kommen sehr sehr gernen wieder.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen, um Friesland zu erkunden

Überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Kontakt schon bei der Buchung, superflexibler Check-in. Das Häuschen in Bestlage erzählt Familiengeschichte und ist ein feiner Ausgangspunkt, um De Alde Faernen und Friesland zu erkunden. Brandneue, super ausgestattete Küche.

Sommerferien in Grou

Einmalig schöne Lage des Hauses im wunderschönen Dorf Grou. Vielseitige Möglichkeiten in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung. Auch meinen vier Jugendlichen, die dabei waren, hat es sehr gut gefallen und über WiFi und Netflix waren sie sehr happy. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!!!! Danke!!!

Grou und mehr!

Die Lage des Hauses ist super. Direkt am Anleger! Auch das Haus könnte ganz schön sein, wenn mal wieder renoviert werden würde. In der Anzeige waren so schöne Bilder zu sehen, die aber leider so nicht mehr zutreffen. Wir waren schon sehr enttäuscht. Kein Ofen, keine weiße Küche. Außerdem lag überall Staub, die Bäder waren verkalkt, in der Dusche kam nur sehr wenig Wasser an und die Heizkörper waren in allen Zimmern entfernt worden, so dass die Wände Farbunterschiede und Löcher aufwiesen. Abgesehen davon, ist das Haus sehr nett. Auch die Nachbarschaft ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben einige Städtetouren unternommen, wie Leeuwarden, Zwolle, Amsterdam und Sneek. Auch eine Motorboottour durch das an Grou angrenzende Naturschutzgebiet ist spektakulär. An sich war der Urlaub im niederländischen Friesland sehr schön. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Charmantes Friesenhaus

Das Haus liegt im alten Dorfteil, hinter der Kirche, direkt am Kanal. Grou ist im Sommer ein lebhafter Ort, Geschäfte und Restaurants sind in nächster Nähe. Wir waren mit dem Boot in Grou, ein Teil unserer Familie hat in Annekes Haus gewohnt. Für uns ideal, wir konnten abends direkt vor dem Haus oder im neuen kleinen Hafen um die Ecke anlegen. Das Haus ist charmant, die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Die Treppe in das Obergeschoss ist sehr steil, mit Kleinkindern ist Vorsicht geboten.. Der Kontakt zu der Vermieterin war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Check-in und Check-out problemlos. Dass man das Auto nicht am Haus parken kann und man einen kleinen Spaziergang zum örtlichen Dauerparkplatz macht, hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Ein schönes Plätzchen um dem Treiben auf dem Wasser zuzusehen und ein guter Ausgangsort für Ausflüge per Boot oder Rad. Empfehlenswert !

Beautiful spot for relaxing holiday

We had a very enjoyable holiday. The house is very pretty, alongside a quiet street (dead end). You can admire many ships and boats. You can sit in the sun on the (little) terrasse, the house is very comfortable and good temperatured. Our teens liked the high quality wifi, us parents liked various litte shops and beuatiful views on the pikmar sea. You have to park your car outside the old town (10 minutes enjoyful townwalk), but this is no problem. Grou is comfortably located in central Frisia, so it's easy to visit the whole region.

fijn verblijf in Grou

wij hebben een heerlijke vakantieweek gehad in dit huis. Het is zeker beneden niet ruim en vrij vol, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. De locatie midden in Grou, met uitzicht op water en st Piter is prachtig.

Comfortabel huis!

Het is een fijn huis op een super locatie. Het is beneden niet groot maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. Daar en tegen is het boven wel heel ruim met hele fijne bedden. In het begin is de kerkklok wel een dingetje maar dat went al gauw. De locatie is perfect; winkels en restaurants op loop afstand. Dit is helemaal fijn omdat je de auto niet voor de deur kunt parkeren (wel om te laden en lossen). Het huis ligt aan een schattig hofje waardoor je geen privacy hebt. Grou is een hele leuke plaats en zeker de moeite waard en dan is dit huis een prima uitvalbasis.

Week zeilen met 4 kids

Prettig verblijf, goed uitgerust huisje, dichtbij alle voorzieningen. Gastvrij. Nadeel voor ons was steigerbouw aan de gevel met forse geluidsoverlast zeer vroeg in de ochtenden, meerdere dagen.

Idylle am Hafen

In der Altstadt von Grou, direkt am Sportboothafen gelegen, hat uns, zwei Kindern und vier Erwachsenen, das Haus mit seiner Lage und der individuellen Einrichtung begeistert. Morgens Kaffee im ruhigen, sonnigen Innenhof genießen und in der Abendsonne vom Vorgarten aus den ankommenden Booten beim Anlegen zusehen, war reinste Meditation. Von Grou aus kann man per Fahrrad das angrenzende Naturschutzgebiet erkunden oder die Dörfer und Städte der Umgebung. Per Regionalbahn ist man in 1 Stunde in Harlingen. Das Haus können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Outstanding Home

This is a wonderful home. We loved our 6 weeks here, it’s like Home away from Home. Everything you need is supplied. Very easy quick contact with Anneke. Sadly we did not meet but were greeted by her friend Jildou. Jildou makes you very comfortable. She is a bright friendly beautiful soul & nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely stay again if the home is available Wonderful village
