Fairly nice home in a very nice neighborhood
The cabin was nice, though there were a few maintenance issues. The photos in the listing appear to show more bedrooms than there actually are. The gas stove was not working either. Mostly it was just general upkeep/maintenance related issues. The location of the cabin is not really close to much, and while the porch was great, the views were mainly just the woods.

10/10 Cozy Cabin Getaway
My family of four stayed for 2 nights and we absolutely loved it! The cabin is so spacious, clean, and charming. I loved the ease of checking in made simple by the owner’s instructions and appreciated that the lock box, light switches, and tv remotes had labels, making it a breeze to use all of the above. The foosball table, dart board, and pool table were fun activities that we enjoyed! My 2 year old enjoyed putting the pool balls in the pockets and my husband and I made fun memories teaching our 5 year old son how to play foosball. We felt very comfortable here and enjoyed how quiet it was. We will definitely be back!

Great cabin
The groomsmen (all in late 30’s) stayed here for my son’s wedding. They enjoyed the cabin and commented that it was very clean and had alot of fun activities for them to do while there. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Wonderful Stay near Lakes
Overall, this was a great place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially being able to bring our dogs along on vacation. The house was conveniently close to both Lake Keowee and Jocassee, where we spent most of our time. Communication with the owner was excellent. A few things could be improved: some kitchen items felt dirty, so we washed most dishes and silverware before using them. Upgrading a few basics would also enhance the experience—plates and cups were plastic, the bath towels were old, and some kitchen essentials were missing (e.g., the olive oil container and coffee canister were on the counter, but empty). These are minor issues but could benefit from a refresh. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. Thank you!

This property was the perfect rental for us to attend a wedding nearby. We enjoyed the hot tub, porch rockers, and comfy beds. We found everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful trip.

Gorgeous home that has a ton of amenities! My only regret is we should have stayed a week to enjoy what all this home and The Rock Resort had to offer! Conveniently located only 15-20 minutes from Lake Jocassee. Loved the privacy of the large lot, yet the safety of the neighborhood. The price was more than fair for this nice home. We will return!

Wonderful family Christmas!
The house was perfect, clean and very spacious. Secluded and only 13 miles to the food store. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and loved bring our dog. Russell was terrific, always quick to respond to our questions. I Highly recommend this property.

Great house, and great owner response
Beautiful home located on golf course, clean. Well maintained. When we checked in the first pm home was warm. Like 75, turned on unit and nothing was blowing out. Messaged owner who gave us a few pointers on operations of unit. Three levels, 3 thermostats. Was very quick to respond. Due to no fault of anyone, Ac wasn't working . Owner sent out repairman. And unit couldn't be fixed. We stayed in contact with owner and he offered a refund since we had to leave. It was 80 inside the next day. He was very easy to work with and apologized for our issues. We will stay again once the ac issue is fixed. My kids love the house and jacuzzi

Home needs TLC
We stayed in this home several years ago and it seems several things in the home now need to be tended to. It wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The hot tub definitely was not clean. No pool for use. Downstairs TV doesn’t work. The owner wasn’t concerned when I mentioned those items. We love the area and that made up for lack of comfort in the home. Most likely would not stay here again.

Great space-
The house accommodated our family relatively well. It was spacious and well equipped. The only challenge we definitely had was the main floor toilet was not easily flushed- we had to remove the back and tend the float often. The other is the king size mattress was horrible. It sagged visibly and the frame squeaked with every move. I would advise that prior to arrival make sure you have received a check-in email with the essential access code. We did not receive any email even after payment confirmation and hadn’t realized. We still have never received our email and the correct phone number. Thankfully VRBO staff were able to reach the owner and help us reach him. Definitely not a battle you need after a long road trip. Everything else was very nice including the neighbors who were very compassionate with our plight.

Misled at The Rock
Check in was easy and house in good location for the area. Inadequate parking at the top of a steep driveway. Ad mentions tennis courts and pool which was a reason we booked it so our 3 tear old grandson could swim. After driving all over the resort with no luck finding the pool, we contacted the property manager who told us the pool had been filled in. That didn't set well with us as we feel we were misled. The layout of the house is nice but could use a more "thorough" cleaning as we discovered old food crumbs under the cabinet by the door entrance. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, and bathrooms were in order. We had a hard time getting the ice dispenser on the fridge to work and finally just gave up on that. The tv downstairs in the game room wouldn't work so again a call to the manager. Left a message as he didn't pick up and never returned the call...gave up on that too. It was nice to play a few games on the pool table but it desperately needs to be recovered and leveled. The dartboard is a complete disaster as also the walls and drop ceiling are damaged badly. We spent the week hiking, visiting waterfalls, and letting our grandson swim in some of the local watercolors. We enjoyed our vacation despite the things mentioned above. We're still undecided if we would stay here again but leaning more towards not.
