You don't find many Bungalows hidden in the heart of Downtown Charleston as they are no longer allowed to be built but we have the perfect one for you. This was built in the later 1800s behind the main house and has been redone and beautifully decorated. This places sleeps 4 guests comfortably and has the cutest courtyard for everyone to enjoy.
Check in time: 4:00pm Check out time: 11:00am
Towels, clean sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee essentials are all provided.
The driveway can hold up to two cars max but is narrow. For reference, my 4runner can fit but it is tight.
A little history about this house: This house was built in the early 1900s. The main house was the court house and the bungalow where you are staying was actually where the judge for the court house lives. Downtown Charleston no longer allows properties to build on 80% of the plot so this house is special. If we were to tear it down, unfortunately we would not be able to build again so I hope you enjoy staying in this very unique home!

We were in town for a concert with 4 of us and 2 dogs. We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor area was perfect for sitting and playing card games. I would stay again and I would recommend to friends!
Great location. Near everything without being in the noise of downtown, Just the right size for a couple of friends to spend the weekend. Very clean with cushy beds! Hostess was very helpful with questions.
The property is in a great location. The host is excellent, our flight got pushed multiple hours and she graciously let us stay way past check out and was very accommodating.
The bungalow was clean & exactly as described. There are smoke detectors & an iron- not included in description. Older home has its quirks, but was a very enjoyable stay. Owner communication was great.
My wife and I, and our little dog, really enjoyed our stay at this sweet little cottage. We were close to everything, the place was clean and decorated well. We will definitely stay here again.
This bungalow is situated close to shops, restaurants and main attractions. It is close enough to walk to whatever you want to see in the downtown area. The driveway is narrow, but the host provided free parking passes which we utilized.
We loved our stay here. It was walkable to King St., lots of neighborhood cafes, and C of C campus. Owners were great to work with. Definitely recommend.
We loved the location- walkable to coffee shops and great lunch spots nearby and we also walked to King Street too. The host was helpful and communicative when we had a question. I would advise driving a small call if possible for parking in the narrow driveway!
House was in a great location, BUT unless you are familiar with the small driveways, beware, I scraped the side on my back passenger door and back quarter panel on the yellow post turning into the driveway. Actually, about $3000 worth of damage, so to save your vehicle, just park in the street. I drive a full size SUV, if you have a compact car, you might get in the drive ok. House was in a great location, we walked to King Street without any problem. We found a great little neighborhood breakfast and lunch spot, Little Lion Kitchen and Provisions is AWESOME. The house is an older house as are all the houses in that area. Beds slept good and noise was very minimal. Felt safe in the neighborhood walking the dog at night and walking home from dinner.
