This Opal condominium provides the perfect getaway. It is perfectly decorated with all the right touches (because we like to vacation there too). One can view the ocean which is a short walk away or watch the sunset on the bay from the living room. We are located in the heart of Dewey Beach ("A Way of Life") and within walking distance to everything. Round out the day at the beach poolside and head out to any of the local spots for dinner and drinks. This condo really does offer the ideal location.

The condo is a 1 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. The kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of sitting room. A washer and dryer are included.

Wonderful beach getaway!

The condo was everything we hoped for and more! This was a clean and comfortable space that provided the perfect balance of beach and town access! The host communication and check in process was seamless and easy. Wonderful stay and we would happily return!

Best place to stay in Dewey!

Second year in a row staying here. Absolutely the best place. Very clean, roomy, close to the beach and Justin is a great guy to rent from. Very friendly and helpful. Bonus, the opal has a pool that’s nice and clean too. More than a 5 star place for sure!

Would Book Again!

In June 2024, we stayed for a week at this clean and lovely condo! Everything was truly wonderful and was a fabulous location. The parking, elevator access, stocked kitchen and 2 bathrooms were all exceptional. The only aspect that we struggled with throughout our stay was the queen bed that was well past it prime and left us hurting every morning. If the bed was replaced we would certainly book again!

Wonderful apartment within walking distance of the beach. Everything is super nice including the two bathrooms and kitchen. Notes in the system were very clear. Really enjoyed the stay and will likely book again.

Perfect location

My husband and I have stayed at this property now twice. It is perfectly located and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked for meal preparation. The owner is very responsive. We will definitely be going back to this property again.

Dont look too close

When i look for a place to stay, location, cleanliness and updated accommodations are most important. From the pics, reviews and amenities, I chose this listing. Upon arrival, we entered and our suitcase wheels got caught on the runner. We moved it to find lots of sand under and falling out of it. when we entered the bedroom, we noted the carpet had stains all over it. The bed was made but the sheets had all kinds of hairs all over them and the bedspread did not smell like it was washed. Thankful that we brought our own sheets. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The carpet in the living room didnt look vacuumed and the eating nook cushions were dirty/covered with crumbs. We found a vaccuum and attempted to clean things ourselves but the vaccuum wasnt working. It seemed as if the cleaning people did the minimum. No bugs anywhere, though (& im hypervigilant bout that). Some other items were broken/damaged as well. We notified the owner of the damage we saw, for transparencies sake. He acknowledged. The hurricane doors are tricky but not awful to deal with once you figure them out. We did not use the pool at all but it looked really nice. A/c worked really well. The location is great and, overall, we enjoyed our stay. We love Dewey Beach! None of the things i mentioned were deal breakers-just disappointments. The place just needs some upkeep/love and a deep cleaning. Hoping this was just due to it being the end of the summer season.

Beach chic

Lovely condo in the heart of Dewey. Rooms are large are furnishings are beach chic. Kitchen was well stocked. Steps from bay with lots of live music a block to the beach… perfect spot. Will go again

Great Location

This was a great location and everything was perfect. Location was great for walking to the beach or to restaurants and shopping. Everything was very clean and was perfect for the two of us. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Condo

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo in the heart of Dewey Beach. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Bed very comfortable and nice having 2 baths. Would definitely stay again!

Easy walk to beach!

Comfortable condo on the third floor walk up- nice decor & amenities. The doors were a little tricky to lock- a quick call with Justin solved the “hurricane” door handle/lock! Pool was refreshing after the beach too. Easy walk to the bars & live music in the evenings. It was a bonus to have TWO parking spaces- we had a friend visit us & that was really convenient- I’m not sure I knew that when I booked! Overall one of the best places we’ve rented in Dewey/Rehoboth DE.

Convenient location!

We had a great time staying at Justin's condo in the heart of Dewey. The location was perfect for all of our favorite activities, and the condo was gorgeous. We had a wonderful view of the sunrise and sunset every morning while we were there. Justin is a great, responsive host. We will definitely book here again.

Fall Getaway

This was my 2nd time staying at Opal. Beautiful condo!! Perfect location!! Walk to all the Dewey restaurants and bars!! The owner is very responsive!! The Starboard restaurant serves a great breakfast until 2 PM!! Very comfortable, nicely equipped and quiet unit!! Linen and towels provided is a big plus!! Thanks!!

Columbus Day weekend retreat

Loved the location and cleanliness of the property. Looked exactly like the photos. We come to Dewey every year with a group and we were looking for a place just for us but close to everyone else and this was perfect. Loved how the host reached out to us to see if everything was fine. Would definitely recommend this host and place to others looking to stay in this area. 😊

Perfect location

Unit was very clean. Easy check in/out process. Location was perfect for walking throughout Dewey Beach. Just a block from the ocean and many bars and restaurants within the vicinity. Kitchen was well stocked with pot/pans, however, we did not use them. We would definately stay here again.

A great location in Dewey

My family and I enjoyed staying at this condo for a quick weekend getaway. Post pandemic this is a great location near all of the restaurants and shops in Dewey Beach. For this particular trip we walked the one block to the beach and back to the condo to continue social distancing. I highly recommend the condo.

Perfect Family Get-away in Dewey Beach

We were a party of 4 (two parents, two children ages 13 and 9). The condo was clean, a spacious enough for the four of us. The second bathroom was a God-send. Justin's instructions and info was spot-on so it was easy to check out. The location to the beach was perfect. There were many shops and restaurants all within walking distance. And for the runner in you, you can easily run the few miles to Rehoboth beachfront and back. All-in-all- a great time away!
