Violet Cabin at Laurel Mtn Cabins - Beautiful Mountain Views in a Quiet Area!
Violet Cabin at Laurel Mountain Cabins has both short and long range mountain views and sits on a quiet, paved, non-steep road that has a turnaround at the end of the road. No 4-wheel drive needed!! Violet has an oversized gravel parking area.
Violet Cabin has a king bed and full bath on main level, including a bedside jetted Jacuzzi tub; a queen bed and full bath on second level, and a sleeper sofa in greatroom. The greatroom has a stone, wood burning fireplace (seasonal use only), Roku streaming TV, fully equipped kitchen with bar and dining table seating areas. Scenic mountain views on large porch with rockers, tables, and area rug, and charcoal grill in front of cabin.
We also provide directions/maps/brochures to help guide you from your cabin to area waterfalls, hiking trails, wine vineyards, restaurants, Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, and other seasonal events nearby.
We are an on-site property owner, available any time you need assistance. Our goal is your complete satisfaction.
PET POLICY:
Dogs are allowed, maximum of two under 40lbs each. (Azalea cabin can accommodate larger sized dogs.) Fees are $75+ tax per dog (this is a one time fee). Fees are due on arrival. No exceptions on weight or number of dogs. No other animals, other than dogs, are permitted.

Hosted by Laurel Mountain Cabins
My husband, Scott, and I [Iris] are originally from Chicago. We moved to Georgia in 1990 and never looked back! We love the mountains and enjoy hiking, boating and bird watching, all of which are at our fingertips here in Hiawassee. Our mountain views and the quiet setting are what draw people in, and we agree!
Why they chose this property
The mountain views and the quiet setting. After long careers, we settled in the mountains and decided to share this oasis with others, so we purchased Laurel Mountain Cabins in Hiawassee and have enjoyed meeting new people that come to rent our cabins.
What makes this property unique
We stand out from others because we have high standards on what is considered clean. Our google reviews are a testament to what we offer. Beautiful mountain views, peaceful retreat, clean cabins, centrally located (20-30 minutes from Young Harris, Blairsville, Helen, Clayton, Hayesville, Young Harris). 15-20 minutes to Bell Mountain, Brasstown Bald, many waterfalls and hiking trails, include the AT, and the George Mountain Fairgrounds, where we have spectacular Fall Festivals and the famous Music Hall where top stars come to play/sing! 10 minutes from Lake Chatuge and Hiwassee River. Many boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing activities just a few miles away! Come see for yourself!
