Wonder full

We absolutely loved the house and the stay ! I would say our favorite part of the house its self was that upon arrival you had your basic needs that most of the time you do not in these houses. There was toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and also actual cooking accessories! The owner was great to deal with and we can’t wait to come back !

Best property on the island!

This was our second time staying at lighthouse keepers retreat and we absolutely love it! We stayed for two weeks this trip and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Perfect house, perfect location, and a personable experience all the way around. We feel at home. The owners are outstanding! Can’t wait to come back!

This property is absolutely awesome. Great views, beautiful location, quiet, quaint, and close to everything. The property manager is awesome and the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen. Look forward to coming back at the end of June.

Beautiful Lighthouse Retreat House

We absolutely loved our stay at your beautiful home. Buxton is such a gem! When we arrived was a welcoming note from Jimmy along with fresh eggs. We enjoyed site seeing, shops, restaurants (everything)! Our two families enjoyed all the property features to the fullest. The hot tub was such a bonus.

Paw-fect Stay for Pet Owners: A Cozy, Convenient Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO property with our dog. The owner was incredibly friendly and responsive, making communication a breeze. The house itself was spotless and ideally suited for our older dog, thanks to the minimal steps, level property, and convenient single-floor layout. Highly recommend for pet owners!

Great house. Best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental. One person in our party has mobility issues and loved the one story accommodations. Host was exceptional. We never wanted to leave.

Awesome stay and home!

We loved the Lightkeepers Retreat. The home is super clean and feels like an actual home. It was perfect for our somewhat bigger family and our dog. The kitchen being fully stocked was great compared to some rentals where you get the bare minimum. And having fresh eggs when we arrived was an added bonus. We loved the outdoor deck for games and of course the hot tub. Also Jimmy was very accommodating and had a great storage area for fishing rods and beach items. My kids stayed on the bicycles! Highly recommend this home and owner. We will be staying there again :-)
