Quiet Lofted Cabin 4 Miles from Edom, an Art Community.

Peace and Quiet in the East Texas woods just minutes form Edom and Ben Wheeler. This hand crafted, lofted 1 bedroom cottage was hand built by the owners and is located 1/10 of a mile off the road and is ideal for those wanting to relax and read a book, watch wildlife or just relax after a day trip.

Included is all linens, towels, dishes, cookery, some spices, a stocked pantry and stove and microwave. Also has a gas grill. Don't forget to peak in the freezer for Blue Bell.

Provided for breakfast at your leisure is coffee, milk, fruit, farm fresh eggs, and cereal.

We do have a 2 night minimum stay requirement.

Great Hosts of a Quaint Cabin

This cabin seems far from everything but it is actually an easy drive from the DFW area. The hosts were very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed sitting and eating on the porch as well as cooking and relaxing inside.

Anniversary trip

This was our second stay at this location. This is a peaceful, comfortable setting, The host is exceptional and provided everything we needed for a quiet getaway. We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary with our beloved 14 y/o dog. We enjoyed the natural beauty, the artistic touches, and the solitude. There's also a nice grocery store nearby.

Great Stay In the Woods

Great property, away from it all. Host was easy to communicate with very helpful and had the fridge stocked with fresh eggs from the chickens on property, milk, butter, and ice cream. Would recommend! Bed was comfortable and the cabin was just the right size for a few nights in the woods.

Off road tranquility

The cabin was just as described. Tucked back in the woods off the road where we could unwind and come and go to visit our family. Except for the storms, the stay was wonderful.

Quiet and relaxing

I loved everything about it! The cabin is so quiet and peacefule with only the sound of animals in the mornings. The fridge and pantry are full of complimentary items that kept made my mornings quick and easy. My only complaint is the shower and bath didnt work at all during my stay, but the cabins older so it was bound to happen eventually. Other than that its a 5 star experience!

This is our 2nd stay at this property, and we just love it! It is nestled deep in tall trees, with plenty of privacy, and it is well equipped with everything you need for a long weekend!

Peaceful stay

Wife and I and 2 poodles had a great time at this cabin. Appreciated the cereal, ice cream, cold drinks, and fruit left for us. Would like to return next year.

Our favorite stay!

We enjoyed this cozy little cabin so much on our last minute weekend trip. We are a family of 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant and we managed a very comfortable stay. James was a super thoughtful host and the house was stocked with some essential items just in case anything was forgotten. Thanks for the awesome stay!

Great cabin in the woods! A beautiful place to rest. Feels very privet. Decor and amenities were perfect. James and Mary are great hosts, helpful and good communication. The eggs are high quality. If you need more of anything, just ask James.

Short getaway

Perfect location to enjoy a relaxing couple of days after powering through Christmas. Cabin has all the amenities and is well stocked with eggs and coffee. Highly recommended for a couples getaway!

We had such a fabulous trip, from the easy check in to the owners being so helpful and nice. Our dogs loved running and exploring the woods surrounding the cabin. We couldnt have asked for a bettter trip. We'll definitely be back.
