Amazing cabin!!

Okay where do i start! We booked this beautiful cabin online to get away from life on the go! 4 kids 2 dogs my husband and I And let me tell you the kids are begging to book again!! My husband has me looking into dates already! I was so impressed with this place and the owner Sarah kept in touch on email it was amazing! A dream come true we went and got pizza and icecream and did a movie at the cabin .. the river and hiking it was amazing!! Definitely book this asap ! Its amazing ! Love love love it!

Family getaway

We enjoyed watching movies and games as well as local breweries. The property was very clean, comfortable, and had all the necessities for cooking. We hope to be back one day!

Awesome Log Cabin In Southern VT Wilderness!

Being 20 minutes from Wilmington the Rustic Retreat: Cozy Log Cabin is pretty much in the middle of nowhere … but don’t let that stop you … it’s a lovely cabin on a country road with a babbling brook … and a front porch that’s to die for (you can hear the brook)! The cabin was clean … the kitchen & dining room & living room were well provisioned and comfortable. Finally, our host was proficient & professional. That said the Rustic Retreat: Cozy Log Cabin is highly recommended … it was a perfect base for our Southern VT/Berkshires vacation. One tip … be prepared for a power failure … you’re in the middle of nowhere and they can last a long time!

Cozy Log Cabin

Enjoyed being in a genuine log cabin. Everything about the cabin and it's owner was absolutely awesome. The only recommendation I can suggest. Is for the owner to install an A/C System. To use during the summer months.

Spring Break - Mud Season

The cabin is very nice. It is in good shape. It is well decorated. It is very comfy, and it has everything you could possibly need. It is very close to the town of Wilmington, hiking trails, fishing, pond, lakes, and rivers. Sarah, the owner, was very responsive to any questions or needs. There’s a very nice eclectic restaurant in Wilmington that we really enjoyed called Jezebel. There is a high likelihood we would be coming back at some point in the future.

Thanksgiving stay

Nice and cozy cabin. Everything is provided - linens, towels, kitchen items etc. The property is small but nicely secluded with a firepit. So quiet you could hear the brook across the street. We were fortunate to have snow the first night we stayed. So pretty. The host, Sarah was nice and quick to respond to our questions.
