In the summer and fall, enjoy the nearby lakes, drive Route 100 and enjoy the foliage, or visit small towns within a 30-minute drive and experience Vermont's unique charm. In the winter months, this location is ideal for skiers. It's only an eight-mile drive from Okemo's Jackson Gore base area and Okemo's Nordic Center, 10 miles to Killington resort's Skyship, or 15 miles to the main base lodge at Killington ski resort. A great location where you can get away from it all to enjoy nature and solitude, yet still be close to area activities.
THINGS TO KNOW
Parking: Limit of 2 vehicles due to small parking area.
Plowing/Shoveling: Hawk Services will plow roads and the parking area. They will get to the property as soon as they can. They will shovel a path to the house. Shovels are provided if you need to do some light shoveling (no metal-edged shovels, please, as they will damage the deck.)
Upon Entry: Please remove shoes and unlock doors so you do not get locked out. Please use the mechanical room entrance on the first (basement) floor to drop off ski boots, etc.
No smoking, pets, or parties. Quiet hours are observed between 10 pm and 7 am.
Trash and Recycling Collection: Hawk Services collects on Monday and Friday mornings. All food waste must be separated from regular garbage. Hawk expects residents and guests to recycle. Recyclables must be rinsed and separated from regular garbage as well. Recycling is to be placed in the dark green bin kept in the entryway until the day of pick up. On the morning of pick up, take trash bags, compost bags, and recycling bins to the brown receptacle in the parking area. Ensure the receptacle is latched in the spring, summer, and fall seasons (due to bears). Upon your arrival, if the dark green bin is not in the entryway, please retrieve it from the trash receptacle in the parking area.
