About this property

Villa Artemis - Luxurious Villa located in Temecula's Wine Valley

Villa Άρτεμις is a luxurious villa located in Temecula's Wine Valley, with picturesque views of rolling hills & vineyards. Re-imagined in 2023 with a focus on incorporating natural and organic materials, fragrant gardens, and culminating in an overall blissful space that bridges nature with luxury. The villa is located within 10 minutes of many of the region's award-winning wineries, equestrian activities, hot air ballooning, golfing, hiking and more.

Perched high above Temecula's Wine Valley with views of the vineyards and Temescal mountains, Villa Άρτεμις is a masterpiece of elegant indoor-outdoor living. Designed to meld various cultures including Mediterranean, Tuscan and Neoclassical/Modern, Villa Άρτεμις enjoys sweeping views of rolling hills, vineyards, the iconic Temecula Valley hot air balloons, gorgeous sunsets and starry nights.

Nature is central to the design of the Villa; a cool French-Gray pebble lined pool and jacuzzi reflect the sky; fragrant gardens and permaculture food forests sooth the senses; and the selection of natural and organic materials reinforce a connection to the ancient landscape.

The ultimate private retreat, the Villa is situated on 5 acres of land and accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, including a 580 SQ foot master suite with central fireplace, walk in closet and ultra luxurious bathroom with an oversized Roman-inspired bath, large shower and dual vanity. The master suite opens up to the terrace, garden, pool and spa. The pool and spa are available all year round, heating is available for a fee which varies by the time of year, please inquire for pricing if interested.

The space beckons of a time gone by; its character and style borrowed from both ancient and modern cultures as its name suggests; which is borrowed from the Ephesian Artemis - the Roman and Greek's classical goddess of fertility and nature.

The Villa is located within 10 minutes to many of the region's award winning vineyards and wineries, including Leoness Cellars, Avensole, Fazelli, Doffo, Wilson Creek, Altissima and many more. There are nearly 50 wineries, over a dozen breweries, two meaderies, and two distilleries – all with spectacular tasting rooms. But wine is only the beginning. Additional things to do in Temecula Valley include award-winning dining, equestrian activities, hot air ballooning, golfing, bicycling, hiking, exotic animals, swimming and sunbathing, casino & gaming, spa treatments, shopping, live music, special events, and much more.

A trip isn’t complete without a stroll through Old Town Temecula, the historical hub of Temecula Valley. This charming, walkable district includes popular restaurants, charming shops, beer, and wine tasting rooms, museums, speakeasies, outdoor art, a performance theater, and a vibrant nightlife.

Discover why Wine Enthusiast magazine named Temecula Wine Country a 2019 “Top 10 Wine Travel Destination” in the world and TripAdvisor’s “Must-See U.S. Destination in 2020.”

Guests enjoy exclusive use to the entire Villa, and over 2.5 Acres of land that includes the gardens, pool, BBQ/cabana, and vegetable forest. A lower pad that is connected via steps, includes an Animal Barn (Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and various breeds of chickens), Bee Hives, as well as a Food Forest planted in the discipline of Permaculture. The lower pad is available for guests to visit and enjoy during daylight hours in coordination with the property manager who resides on this lower lot and tends to the Food Forest and animals.

Villa Artemis has been renovated to provide the ultimate luxury retreat, for couples or families. This is not a "party" house. We ask that you please respect our neighbors and environment. Please note that the last approximately 400 feet leading to the villa are on a dirt road. The villa operates on eco-friendly electric systems, which may result in slightly longer heating times and water temperatures that are warm but not as hot as those powered by natural gas. The state-of-the-art induction cooking range offers rapid heating and enhanced safety, with all necessary induction-compatible cookware provided for your convenience.

The home is a true oasis, boasting natural porcelain floors that offer a sleek and modern feel, while the natural stone accents provide a touch of rustic charm. You'll love the calming vibe created by the organic lime paint on the walls, whose textured natural earthen mineral pigments refract light in a unique way creating a natural luminescence with soft tonal variations adding depth, texture and a velvety suede like effect. Relax and unwind in the luxurious environment created by these stunning features. You'll feel right at home with all of the amenities you need, including comfortable furnishings state-of-the-art appliances and chef's kitchen, home theater and surround sound systems, and turnkey outdoor spaces including pool lounge areas as well as a BBQ station with TV and bar / island.

We advise all our guests to remember that with all the beautiful bounties that come with living with and in nature, comes respect and caution. Coyotes, snakes and other potentially dangerous animals are common. You will likely encounter hares, dozens of quail that live on our property, bees, and if you visit our Animal Barn you will get to meet our beautiful Nigerian Dwarf Goats and numerous breeds of beautiful chickens. Please do not disturb the bees / beehives, our honey bees are hard at work and we depend on them for our farms, food and flowers. Please exercise common sense in safety at all times, and be careful not to disturb nature.

Peaceful Nature Retreat with Amazing Host

Our stay was truly exceptional! The home was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with every detail carefully chosen with sustainability in mind. We especially appreciated the limestone-washed interior walls that help purify the air, the eco-friendly aluminum containers for shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap instead of plastic, and the non-stick pans that were free of Teflon. It was the perfect balance of comfort, tranquility, and environmental consciousness, making for a wonderfully relaxing getaway. The highlight was the breathtaking nature overlook—watching the sunset from this spot was absolutely magical. We also had an unforgettable time on the animal tour, where we got to pet the goats and enjoy their playful energy. Tyler greeted us warmly upon arrival, gave us a great tour of the property, and remained incredibly responsive throughout our stay. One of the most unique and delightful aspects of this experience was the access to fresh herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, and eggs—it was such a joy to incorporate these straight-from-the-garden ingredients into our meals! The host was fantastic, always attentive and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a serene retreat immersed in nature, with a wonderful host, thoughtful sustainability features, and farm-fresh charm, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and relaxing stay

We LOVED our stay at this resort-like villa. It felt upscale but also cozy. Felt fully stocked and functioned well. The sound system and backyard felt like treats, the neighborhood was peaceful, comfortable and convenient. Wineries and downtown were easy to get to, however it is note-worthy that the last .3 miles of road to get to the house is unpaved, and was a little rough I'm sure because of the recent rains, but our SUVs handled it fine. Overall such a relaxing stay, would 100% return next time.

Getaway in Temecula

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The place was even better than in the pictures, and beautifully decorated. The host was really helpful and responded quickly to our questions. We loved the quiet neighborhood and easy access to local attractions. We were able to take the kiddos to Legoland with minimal hassle. The check-in was a breeze and we felt at home right away. The backyard was our favorite spot to enjoy the beautiful California sunsets . We'll definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Temecula!

Resort-feeling retreat

I cannot say enough good things about Villa Artemis and its host. We felt we were at a five-star resort with quality and comfortable furnishings and a spectacular view. The hot tub was a perfect place to wind down after a day on the wine trail. Every need and wish was accounted for both inside and outside the home. Out host met us on site to help us settle in and was very responsive to any question about the property or area. It was so hard to leave, and we cannot wait to return!

An Incredible Home in Temecula Wine Country

Villa Artemis is by far the best stay my wife and I have ever experienced. Our hosts did an incredible job creating a home amazingly inviting with fine hospitality touches throughout the house. The furnishings give Villa Artemis a look and feel straight out of an interior designer magazine. Everything was well-appointed and the amenities were perfect. The expansive, lush backyard with its perfect pool kept us wanting to stay at the house versus exploring Temecula wineries or the short drive to San Diego County beaches. Our hosts and their property representative were very responsive and very detailed in the information provided to make our stay easy and effortless. We will be returning to Villa Artemis in the very near future. We already miss this magical place! Jay - Las Vegas

Amazing Getaway

Villa Artemis exceeded our expectations. We were hoping for a nice place to stay, conveniently located in Temecula for a getaway weekend. We ended up at a house that felt more like our own private resort. The backyard was the perfect spot to sip our morning espresso (provided by the host!) and watch the hot air balloons float across the sky. The house itself was incredible - the sound system, the deep bathtub, comfortable king bed, the huge kitchen, and open floorplan all added to the allure. There was an abundance of towels, dishes and other supplies. However, if you plan on cooking in, there is a limited number of pots and pans to cook with. Overall, Villa Artemis was AMAZING! We will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful Temecula Villa

We were delighted with the newly renovated interior villa and stunning grounds! The vibe was sleek upscale European, with a hint of Amalfi Coast, Greek Islands, or Caribbean with the views. The interior decor was rich, tasteful, light, and functioned well for our family group of six (myself, husband, 2 daughters, boyfriends-ages 24 thru 58). We enjoyed the elevation of the property and when driving back from excursions, we felt we were “away from it all”. Beds extremely comfortable, lovely bath products, closet in master phenomenal. Kitchen & appliances adjacent to laundry well designed. Loved having enough array of glassware, china, silverware. The hot tub accommodated the 6 of us & kept us warm, whilst it was around 47 & raining outside. Strolling around the pool & down to garden with coffee in hand was very soothing. An added plus are the different areas for seating around the interior & exterior. We didn’t fully use everything as it rained both days of our stay. We want to come back again to fully appreciate the views, sunsets, & design of this beautiful property, with owners who are very responsive. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy!
