Bachelorette Nightmare
As the MOH for my best friends bachelorette, I booked this property for 6 ladies to stay and another 8 local ladies to come and go. I received two emails from someone on the property team confirming details about the stay and varifying payment, to which I responded promptly and agreed. A week before the stay, the money still had not come out of my account (aside from the VRBO fee). I reached out multiple times via email, VRBO messaging, and even called them 3 times the day of check-in. No response. I finally called the VRBO customer support line and they were able to reach the property manager but were not able to contact the property owner. They eventually got the property owner on the line and I was told that my booking for the property was "lost." That was all the explanation that I had from them. VRBO refunded me the fee but I was left in hysterics and panic to scramble for somewhere else for us to stay THE DAY OF CHECK-IN. I wish I was leaving a positive review under different circumstances but this experience made what was supposed to be a fun weekend celebrating my best friend, and turned it into a nightmare. If you book this property, don't count on great communication and fingers crossed your booking doesn't get "lost."
